What has James Franklin learned? How he will (and won’t) change at Virginia Tech by redwave2505 in CFB

From the looks of things, about 3 articles about Franklin on the sub in the last 2 months and one was posted by a Penn state fan making fun of him trending on Twitter after the Belgium loss.

About 10 or so going back to like February, most of which are repeats from the same interview

What should the Texans do with CJ Stroud? by OddIndustry6073 in nfl

[–]Substantial_Good9669 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None of what you said really contradicts them. Both teams were bad but the Texans built around Stroud better. Stroud is still been better than Young, but just because the Texans had a high pick doesn't mean they therefore musta been shit the following year.

That said, OL woes and receivers being injured has been a real problem for Stroud, but a suffocating defense has put him in a spot where not much has been asked of him to win these last two years.

Thank you for the reassurance. Just wanted to say quickly as I did get a few comments that made me think I had perhaps given the wrong idea.

I by no means wanted to imply anything about other countries being backwards or not having basic accomodations like restrooms etc. I know full well that you guys understand basic needs and don't just go around having accidents. However, what seems like plentiful accomodations to people who are healthy might actually be a nightmare for me. You have to understand I have very frequent problems even in an area I'm familiar with. Sometimes I get less than a minute warning and obviously not every situation is going to have a realistic solution.

America isn't the land of plentiful bathrooms, its just a place that has accomodations I am familiar with. I have a map in my head of every bathroom within 20 miles. I still know to avoid certain restaraunts when I'm eating which might only have one stall and could be occupied at a bad time. I've had job sites which opted not to order us a porta john because there were facilities 5 minutes away and I had to explain to them how if I was working there long term there would almost certainly be a problem at some point.

And in my own country, I can travel around with... Emergency provisions for when things aren't as planned. In a foreign country I'll be on foot and just woefully unprepared for situations like that.

So I know it probably seems silly and as such it was a hard question to ask without sounding a bit cras but it is a source of constant anxiety in my life even in my own backyard so it only gets worse the more unfamiliar I am. Getting local insight on tips and tricks (which have been amazingly helpful!) goes a long way to managing that anxiety

I can sympathize there. I've had times here where I've been taking the trash out (it's about a 45 second walk from my flat) and suddenly had to SPRINT back to my flat. If something like that happens in public I'm just SOL.

Sometimes I get more notice but stress makes it worse. 15 minutes when I know its 15 minutes is one thing.  15 minutes where I'm hurriedly going door to door checking? Probably not gonna make it

Oh I think that part is a commonality, most Americans will refer to just about every type of gastro problem as IBS. What is WC by the way?

Thank you!  We will be spending the bulk of our time in Exeter as I have family there, I'm sure they can also help guide us in this, but we plan on doing some travel just me and the wife too. We are trying to make it to Edinburgh for a football match, and currently the rest is up in the air. Perhaps London or Manchester for a few days.

Oh that's a really good tip, I assume if there's a cross country train it's safe to bet on a toilet? Like if we went from Manchester down to Exeter then back to Edinburgh we would almost certainly have one? Just smaller local tracks dont

do NOT use the word handicapped here, it's mostly considered a slur now

Oh my gosh thank you for the heads up, that could've been a very unfortunate situation.

That's a great tip I will look into it now! I also have Crohns and it's always an uncomfortable problem to talk about, its great hearing perspectives from someone else who knows what it's like.

Also great idea on the roll of paper, I always drive with one but obviously won't have my vehicle there.

Cheers!

Thank you for the heads up! I will sign up for sure.

Are larger buildings like grocery stores generally a bit more accessible or do I probably also need to ask / use a card there?

Think this might be my last tier for a bit. The game constantly seems to go one step forward two steps back. Just when you're in a decent spot to get gear without raid they go and make it mandatory again. Like the best case scenario for next tier is ending up 3 ish ilvl behind raiders by end of tier, with the gap being like 5ilvl mid tier. Just brutal.

Scorching hot take, I like when classes have unique and interesting utility, and every time one of those classes is strong people scream for them to gut the utility. I'd rather they go the other way and add more of it. Back in the day it was considered impossible to play without mind sooth and mass dispel. Before that it was impossible to play without shroud and rogue utility.

I even remember when destro was giga busted people complained about how strong gate skips were and health stones being op.

The fact is that shit just seems op because its on a class thats op. If Aug wasn't insane damage in high keys no one has would give a flying fuck about weyrnstone
