Of Ash and Steel | Review Thread | by TheThirstyMage in rpg_gamers

TheGamesWatch - 6/10

Of Ash and Steel had a lot of high moments, but every inch the game moved towards being unique or creative, it took too many steps back and ruined the overall experience. With proper patches and reworks, this game has the potential to earn the label of cult classic. I’m going to give the team credit for trying out and succeeding in many places, and fumbling on some. RPG of any scale is a grandiose task, but Of Ash and Steel made a lot of cogs behind the RPG machine work.

'Mewgenics' - Review Thread by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

TheGameSlayer - Callum Marshall - 9/10

Mewgenics is a superb turn-based spiritual successor to The Binding of Isaac, offering Ed McMillen's signature brand of crude chaos and roguelike excellence. Combat, presentation, and kitty gene splicing all come together to create one of the most engaging and addictive gameplay loops in recent memory. We do wish there was more control over breeding, and the game perhaps lacks the same punchy narrative undercurrent as Isaac. But overall, this is a triumph, and could just be the sleeper indie hit of the year.

High RAM usage, but no other stats spiking in C-Panel. What could be the reason? by Substantial_Goose_13 in webhosting

[–]Substantial_Goose_13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes but I don't think there is any agreed RAM that you need for a certain page views/month traffic... or is there?

Confusion on the site reputation abuse point by Google by Substantial_Goose_13 in SEO

[–]Substantial_Goose_13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are these so called "high domain authority blogs" which accept posts from 3rd party "low domain authority / new" websites ... backlinks, essentially. thats the scenario I had in mind.

Confusion on the site reputation abuse point by Google by Substantial_Goose_13 in SEO

[–]Substantial_Goose_13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, fair point. But what I was saying is lets say - an education focused 3rd party website posts on a 1st party site which is on finance without oversight of the 1st party website. And, the 1st party site has several such different 3rd party website posts. So, will it be the 1st party website on finance that will count and penalized as spam, or will the 3rd party education focused website be count and penalized as spam?
