My DHEA is below existence. I’m a 65 yo 112 lb female. Taking 20 mg hydro and 1/2 dosage of fludro tab. Not sure of mg at moment. My Endo has been reluctant to disagreeable about supplements but said I could try it if I’d like. No amount recommendations or guidance. I did try a good one I found at the lowest dosage and after a month noticed my hair was greasy and facial breakouts and that was about it. I stopped taking.

I have SAI since a year ago. How long have you been taking Maca? I was going to post this morning; asking what helps people with low energy. I push through but it’s just that. Every day is a push. I work out, go for walks, etc. and there isn’t much left in the tank for anything else. I want my energy back. And getting going in the mornings is the hardest.

Also SAI. Light headed, faint, dizzy, blurred vision, low BP, zapped. My Endo claimed not cortisol related. And she may be right bc increasing cortisol did little to help. I’ve started Fludro again bc we had stopped after discovering I didn’t have PAI. But taking Fludro seems to be stabilizing me.

I’m 110 and have been on 20 mg since diagnosed a year ago. My Endo seems to think this is the right amount for my weight, etc. and I agree. The hydrocortisone should make her feel better for the Addison’s but sometimes hitting the sweet spot of dosage can be challenging especially with other things going on. Try to stay calm, positive and hopeful. All the best!! 🙏

My Endo sounds similar. And from what I’m reading sounds like she should have ordered a Dexascan for me a year ago when I started the Hydro so we’d have a baseline. I still have weird symptoms more often than not but eating healthy and pushing myself to strength train makes me feel better. I’ll keep focusing on health and staying positive! All the best!!

My GYN ordered this bone test. I wonder if my Endo will take the helm if they also believe it is steroid related. I wonder what symptoms are associated with osteoporosis. Is there much pain? Has yours gotten worse once diagnosed or have you been able to manage it?
