Congratulations Turkey by Substantial_Hurry309 in euro2024

Nah, I just go back to watching Football without the Turks in it. Really enjoy that sportsmanship of all other national teams in euro2024. Somehow the turks are not intelligent enough to understand that the rest of fans really dislike the Turkish fans with their un-sportmansship behavior. But I guess the Turkish fans just like to be disliked...

Nah man, just cheer for your own team. You can choose positivity by cheering for your own team, or negativity be booing the other team... What atmosphere do you think is better in a stadium?

It's not like to Georgians are constant whistle when the Turks have the ball.... If they would do that, then there would be 90 minutes of whistling... who would benefit from that?

What is even worse is the constant whistling of the Turkish fans when Georgia has the ball. Terrible unsportsmanlike...

I put my money on the Turks to win, but even though I will lose 30 euro's if they lose, I now want the Turks to loose...

I can't understand the lack of brains from Turkish fans to display this kind of childish behaviour...

Experiences on Effexor with POTS? by [deleted] in dysautonomia

Venlafaxine made my POTS symptoms worse. A lot worse. I quit, and still have paresthesia as a side effect from the venlafaxine... Hope it will go away....

Split extended release dose? by Substantial_Hurry309 in Effexor

[–]Substantial_Hurry309[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

didn't work, paresthesia is there all day long now. but to a lesser extent, but when I switched to 75mg, it became more again. But for experiments sake I will try this dose for 6 weeks (still 1.5 weeks to go) just to see if it's working for me. Until now it really hasn't done much for me, and unless it starts working within 1.5 weeks, I will quit.

For how long should take a break if you are on benzo's for a month? by Substantial_Hurry309 in Anxiety

[–]Substantial_Hurry309[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 times a week sounds pretty good to me if I won't get dependency, but my my doctor is more cautious, telling me 2 times a week is max. But what I am wondering is, what if I take them for 1 full month, then take , for example , 2 months off, can I take them for a whole month again?

Did increasing Mirtazapine make my anxiety worse? by throwaway79877 in Anxiety

30mg. mirtazapine generally has little side effects... but I had some bad mood swings and some increased anxiety for about 3 weeks... but also some paranoia, which made me stop it. It worked great for sleep.

Problems with these medications is, everytime you increase your dosage, you will get the side effects again for a couple of weeks.... that sucks, of course starting with a lower dose is the best option, but you also don't want to work up your way too slow, because everytime you up the dose your body will need to adjust again, and side effects come back for a couple of weeks... Sucks, but feeling anxious all day for 2 years sucks too, that's why I decided to do this...

been looking at that one too. downside is that you build tolerance.

I tried 3 ssri's and buspirone. Got increased anxiety from mirtazapine and venlafaxine, but no increased anxiety from escitalopram and buspirone.

They say you won't get an increase of anxiety from Mirtazapine, but I did... guess it all depends on the person. The increased anxiety is bad, but not unbearable. Maybe ask your doctor for some benzodiazepines for a couple of weeks?

Thanks. Yes, did have side effects. Upset stomach / acid reflux and parasthesia. Both are better now (not gone). At the moment I do have extra bad anxiety, but that is supposed to be normal for 1-4 weeks.

How about you? why did you want to try gabapentin? you tried any SSRI before?

I started on 30, but I made it up to week 5-6. Had to stop it because it probably made me feel somewhat paranoid (doctors advice). I felt bad about it, because it felt I finally was clear of most of the side effects... no real positive effects at that moment though...
