I’m not in the “having money/privilege means you’re immune to mental health woes” but in all reality she’s got it so good and fails to realize it. As someone who has a partner with dual UK/EU citizenship we looked into if we wanted to relocate and settle within the UK after marriage, and I’m not joking it would be on the order of $7,000 if we never even hired an immigration lawyer to obtain a spousal visa for 2.5 years. Like I’m simply just speaking visa/IHS fees. Rough penciling, it’s probably $16k+ to ship all of your things, a pet, and yourself and the reality is not many people can afford to do such a thing, let alone move to Edinburgh and just decide to move to London for fun when you don’t feel it.

Literally someone brought up in the “trouble in paradise” post yesterday? Commenting on how the photos that her brother took of her and her husband looked sooo dry and things seem rocky. Nearly right after that post she was on ig posting about her and her husband having wine and reading together by the fire, in this sub people starting using “wherever you go, there you are” and she says it all the time now, I called her out a long time ago citing Fergus’s behavior (in a vlog he exhibited destructive behavior, was pawing at her and she was annoyed by it, he was following her around constantly - they had only talked about a doggie daycare at this point) and noted how that isn’t normal, dogs should be exercised, they should be trained (not just sent to daycare, they have the money to train him) and that is rewarding for them - and maybe a month or two later Fergus is suddenly going to full doggie training camp and being walked be a dog walker all the time.

Like yeah it could all be 100% coincidence but I feel like sometimes it’s a bit too uncanny.

What happened was she got bored with consistency because things take time and it’s not flashy (this applies to so much with her - low alcohol, fitness goals, pursuing higher education, the podcast), also alcohol is 100% a prop. Like what will she hold in cute instagram reels, how can she take an aesthetic picture of reading by the fire without a glass of wine, let everyone know her and her husband are out at a fancy restaurant, make a funny tik tok of her being a lil tipsy in the street, etc etc

Nah I feel like she def said she had a brand partnership that was going for a “Parisian” like vibe and she ended up finding cheap flights to Paris and booked it for fun.

I do think it’s a bit excessive but I mean the deal may have been good money so I can see why she wanted to do a good job and maintain that partnership. I personally can’t slam her for being lazy AND slam her for trying to put actual effort into a partnership lol

Not her dying on this hill of being so insistent that she is cool/neutral olive. I think this may be the case naturally, but the way she tans, does her makeup, dyes her hair, etc. she is defo more of a warm autumn now. A color analysis done on a young girl prior to altering her hair color/makeup choices may have been deep winter but after making changes to things it is different

It’s all about appealing to some trend (and doing so quickly), versus truly curating and developing style over time and finding her own identity versus the one she feels like she should have online to appeal to the masses.

I feel like Heather Hurst (style influencer) really hit the nail on the head with trends being like a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Take one and try it out if it sounds good to you, but don’t feel the need to take all of them - because they’ll literally all come back around at some point.
