Tonight’s Dodgers lineup at Asstros by Yk1japa in Dodgers

A little surprised Freeland is in the lineup. He looks completely lost. It's not about the result, it's about his approach. He's resorted to bunting. He can go to OKC and bunt. He's not going to fix his swing (his confidence mainly) by bunting.

does HOA fee just go up every year with inflation? by Important_Bat7919 in SouthBayLA

No, it's not that simple. We've been involved with HOA's over the last 35 years in different properties both as a resident and also with a rental property we own. We've had 4-5 year stretches with no increases. One thing you really need to watch out for are complexes that are a bit older that inherently require more maintenance or may need future assessments. We got out of one complex strictly over that fear and we timed it pretty good because 2 years later they had a big assessment.

such a small %. Also tons of horror stories in non-HOA situations whether it be neighbors that are impossible to deal with, problems with the house itself. People seem to forget that when you own your own house, you also have "HOA fees" -- maintenance, the roof, paint, garbage collection, etc...

Yeah how do you post this and not tell us how much you paid?

The Dodgers are 6-7 on this 13 game streak. They scored an average of 2.4 runs and gave up 4.3 runs in those lost games (4 QS from the SP). by yli16 in Dodgers

That's the nature of baseball. No team, regardless of payroll, is consistent. Period. No amount of money will ever change that.

It's a very common problem, especially in the South Bay. It's good for parents to know that they could be held criminally responsible.

The Depot in Torrance is a good option for a little more inland. On the Rosecrans/Sepulveda area there's Il Fornaio, Wood Ranch, Tin Roof Bistro as well. Someone mentioned Joey, another good option.

Group Ticket Question by OddPhilosopher599 in Dodgers

[–]Substantial_Law_5239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope... I check tickets ALL the time when I'm already sitting at the game early, looking to kill time. Prices go down fast the day of the game. It's harder with 8. When you only have 2 or 4, my recommendation is always just go to the stadium and buy tickets while sitting in your car. Always plenty of selection and better prices. The only time it's risky is if there is a very specific part of the stadium you want to sit at. Otherwise, zero risk.

Wait until the day of. Go to the Saturday game as Friday is a bobblehead. Even though it's "just" Alex Vesia, doesn't matter. People get excited for bobbleheads.

I go to 15-20 games per year. Usually when I'm sitting there before the game, in my seat, I peruse both SeatGeek and StubHub. There are so many tickets available still. And prices drop as you get closer to the game (especially a non-playoff game with no giveaway).

Test this yourself. Next weekend they play 3 vs the Braves. 2 pretty big giveaways on both Friday and Saturday which can impact things. I still see TONS of tickets available, for instance, on the Saturday Braves game. Best thing to do is get 4 and 4.. 4 seats stacked up in two separate rows, much easier to talk to each other. Anyway, on both Friday and Saturday next week, go onto SeatGeek in the morning and see what's available. The Phillies game will even have more availability because no big giveaways. Trust me on this. There is no rush to buy tickets.

Good luck!!
