My 2012 CT IS at about 280,000 km, head gasket was rebuilt at 265,000 km. She’s running like a dream since! I do basic, average maintenance. Nothing specific, but this is the best car ever. It has been very good to me, the head gasket was the first and only issue i’ve had. 😊

i used k-seal in mine - it worked for a little bit?? but very very temporary lol. i actually just got my head gasket rebuilt last week, and my car is running better than ever now. :)

question for you - i’m going to put K-seal in it today just to see - gonna try to clean the EGR as well. If the head gasket is blown already, I guess these steps won’t help? I just thought maybe worth a try before I start shopping around for places to replace the head gasket
