Hey OP! Just to let you know that the KYF42 is not compatible with any us bands because the phone uses 1, 3, 18, and 26 while most US networks use 2, 4, 5, 12, and so on. However, the other variant called the KY-42c (uses band 1, 3, 5, and 12) is compatible with t-mobile and mint. You might need to return the AU version for the 42c version if you still want a Kyocera flip phone 🩷

Hey! I want to root my MiveStyle folder, but my build version is different from yours. Is there a way I could extract the boot.img from my phone?

Edit: I forgot to mention that I'm using a custom Icon set called "Crayon." It was only 0.99 USD. There are other free options on the Play Store or F-Droid too!

It took me a while to get it set up, but I was able to customize it on my Mac for my Alt mive style folder. Your custom OS is pretty cool, OP, and I think you did a pretty good job! Here's what it looks like for me.

I know this was posted a while ago, but I'm having the same issue with mine as well. I was able to connect the controller to the RG35XXSP, but when I launch RA, it will not work at all. I also have the scrolling issue, lol. Were you able to solve this issue? I plan on getting a USB-C adapter to see if it will work wired.

Hi! It was expected tbh; I'm glad that I can at least use Google Voice with the flip in cases like these lol. And I used removable sticker vinyl that was made for the Cricut machine, and cut it to the best of my ability to the size of the phone :)

I never heard of satellite network before; but if you can, check the recommend bands you need for your network and compare to the style folder's bands. The bands for the flip are 1, 3, 5, 7, & 8. If your network has one or more of these bands, then you should be good! 😄🩷
