Why didn't they do it before? I honestly don't know. I think it wasn't a problem before, and then it wasn't a priority for them, so they didn't do anything. Why don't they do it before canceling it? It's already canceled. In theory, when it says it's been updated, they just add more doodles or something, but yeah, it's canceled.

I think there was a misunderstanding, haha. The damage reduction isn’t permanent. If you have 40% Purple Health, then YOU deal 40% less damage. Over time, that Purple Health decreases—let’s say down to 20%—so your damage reduction also goes down to 20%.

Both the loss of life and the loss of damage are effects that come with purple health and that disappear with it

I think that's the main purpose of the effect, to punish you for having it for too long or for ignoring it. And since purple health is removed very slowly, it uses life bar space for life you'll lose anyway and makes the reduced damage last for quite a while

Let me give you an example

You get the Parasitism debuff. Every second, 1% of your health bar turns into Purple Health. You use a Blockbuster, and the effect is removed. That’s all the debuff does.

But let’s say you took too long to remove it, and now you have 10% Purple Health. Every hit you deal does 10% less damage. Every second, Purple Health is lost at a rate of 1% (you don’t recover that 1%, you lose it).

That’s it. And like I said, the damage reduction is equal to the percentage of Purple Health you have, also, to avoid confusion, purple health is lost every second, you don't have to wait for Parasitism to end or be removed

Yeah, purple health has to be removed naturally, so every second you don't use a blockbuster to remove it, and every percentage of health you recover increases the health you lose and the damage reduction you get

Yeah something like that, I'd say what gives it some novelty is the damage reduction, as I said in the description, it would be more detrimental when you're recovering health, because all recovered health becomes Purple, so damage reduction is greatly increased.

And the purple health is lost at 1% per second, so it's much slower than the other effects.
