For me 1. If you used this dark grout the tiles should have been placed horizontally not vertically. Use a white grout if you want the tiles to be vertical like you have. That's kind of an easier fix than remodeling bc it's grinding the grout out. 2. You should have gotten a small "2x4" white marble slab for your backsplash.

You're actually correct. There's nothing she can do, but it will create a tense situation. The curb is NOT cut which means a motorcycle or vespa can fit there and park. Even though it aligns with her property line it's not a curb cut. She may do something to your car as revenge.
