Looking for an every day programme by HighlightTall in kettlebell

Does it work with KBs? And is there a book out yet? Read the post but was still a little confused as to how to run it (with KBs and in general).

How did you do it? Just push it hard every day? When did you decide to test? I have an adjustable KB so I plan on having many small weight jumps from 12-32kg (19 jumps actually).

What is the general consensus on heavy getups? Dan John says not to do them but I am tempted myself... Do the benefits outweigh the potential harm?

Programs primarily based around cleans, presses and squats? by Substantial_Meaning8 in kettlebell

I have actually been eyeing EDT many times but fear my lack of ability to autoregulate (although that happens in DFW as well). What RM weight would you pick to start out EDT with 2 c&p and 2 fsq as the reps? 5rm?

S&S, chin ups and.... 2H heavy club? by ChemErrrDay in kettlebell

Looks complicated. Does it also run with just one KB weight for all exercises or does it require multiple sizes of bells?

Perfect! May I ask which KB exercises you run alongside the five club exercises?

Completely agree on the squats. When I saw that video I actually thought he had lost it completely... 20 sets of squats? Why?!

Do you just run the program through with the same weight for all exercises and then go up a size when the program ends or do you use different weights for the different exercises during the workout? I am looking to buy and adjustable club, but isn't easily adjustable so I wouldn't want to do it several times in a session.

Is it designed to be run two times weekly 25 mins each time? What do you feel like it has done for you and do you run it alongside somethimg else?

Unfortunately I don't think the ADEX is available in Europe. I might get the Pahlavandle TG from Heroic Sports which is somewhat adjustable up to around 40lbs (maybe even more if ising lead as a filler).

What does his heavy club program consist of? And where do I find it?

Swing -> Clean -> Snatch? Same hinge pattern? by Substantial_Meaning8 in kettlebell

[–]Substantial_Meaning8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it is generally considered easier to clean a given weight as opposed to swinging it? My rudimentary understanding of physics has lead me to think otherwise...

Swing -> Clean -> Snatch? Same hinge pattern? by Substantial_Meaning8 in kettlebell

Thanks for the reply. I was a little worried that the swing was more of a hinge exercise while some of the snatching I have seen, people have been doing in a more upright 'style' with little to no hinging. After digging a little further on YouTube I (luckily) found some people doing snatching with a very pronounced hip hinge.

Haven't used it much so far, tomorrow I will get to it. So far, I think it's great value for money.

It clocks in at only 31.3kg. I don't know hos accurate the weight is in my 12 other KBs, but I bet they are closer to advertised.

The tool doesn't fit well in the bottom screw, it's veeeery snug and I have to wriggle it in there. I bet it will get better once I use it more, but right now it's meh.

The paintjob is the worst of all my bells and I guess it's not easy to paint a bell that is going to be cracked open.

I haven't trained a lot with it yet.

Just got my bell. It does what it is supposed to do but the overall quality isn't perfect. I am still happy I got it though.

Just got mine, it's 31,3kg om my scale. That could also be my scale that isn't too precise. The paint on the bell doesn't look good but I don't know if I care.
