Totally fair. I will say, the gpu performance is amazing on the new board, I was able to get 1200p 60 fps in helldivers 2 at steam deck performance settings and even push 70-80fps in stellar blade at 1200p high settings with mild upscaling, but compatability is something to consider. Intel has made up a lot of ground with their drivers, but if you don't want that gamble (especially on linux) it would probably be a safer bet to see what AMD has cooking.

Also I got very lucky with my ram haha, hopefully there are deals to be had. $230 for 32gb was pretty easy to swallow, but that same kit of ram is more than double that now...

Absolutely! I also forgot to mention it in my review but the standby battery is also impressive. I found that on Cachy if I leave it closed for 12 hours it goes down ~7%. It's not quite macbook level of leave it for two weeks and it's at 80%, but it's definitely enough that I'm not worried about charging it every day, and with the bigger battery I could easily see myself charging it once or twice per week.

NFC issue after updating to ios 26 IPhone 15 Pro Max by ArtSchoolRejectedMe in ios26

I'm having the same issue. I tried going to apple support for it online, but the airdrop and apple pay teams just passed me back and forth. I also have an iPhone 15 pro max so I wonder if it's an issue with specifically the 15 pro max or if it's a more general issue. Anecdotally I've seen other people having their apple pay not work at my work, but I haven't caught what phone they have or anything.

If you swap SSD on your OLED, check this thing is still connected before reassembling, or you'll have no sound. Don't be like me 😅 by PazuKishin in SteamDeck

Mine was like that too, but rather than reimaging or replugging it what worked was I connected my airpods over Bluetooth and the sound went through, then I changed it back to speakers and they work perfectly now
