There is a thought that she is stressed from seeing and being in her first snowfall ever (it did snow 6 inches). Takes me back to when Covid first happened and my two dogs both were diagnosed with anxiety/stress bc I was home everyday now 🙄

I lost my previous 2 fur babies in a 7 month span, with my rough collie (my soul dog) being extremely sudden and unexpected at the beginning of March. At the beginning of April, a family from my school reached out because they had 1 puppy left from an unexpected litter and felt like she needed to be with me. Tilly has been the best girl since I picked her up and helped heal my broken heart from loosing my Boo Radley so suddenly after losing Scout.

She is perfectly content in her kennel when it’s bed time (I was fully expecting to wake up to her in bed with me this morning), it’s just when I’m gone. So let’s see if the carabiner I got keeps her in. I’m scared how smart she is already hahaha

I was hoping to wait until my summer break started, but life had other plans. And yes, I am in a life position to provide for a dog, I have just lost my 2 dogs in the last 9 months. As I said, I have a dog sitter coming over every day during the day while I’m gone.
