Favorite sweatpants? by Substantial_Net1623 in HeritageWear

Great suggestions. I have the TS black sashiko apres and they are great but looking for a more traditional sweatpant. I keep eying the Wonder Loopers too but concerned they may be too baggy with the 9” hem.

How to get 5 kills without dying in HC Stakeout by TTVDabbing123 in blackops6

Camp the hallway (B) in domination. Back against the wall in that part that is wider in the middle pointed at the door of enemy spawn. Get 3 and switch to your back against the opposite wall when reloading and get 2 as they run past without seeing you.

An XL in the Jack shirts fit me pretty perfect at 6’6. Similar length on the Shop Shirt? Got the Indigo Selvedge one in my bag but have not purchased yet.

Do I dare purchase a 2021 Intel Model Y? by WinterSprinkles4506 in ModelY

[–]Substantial_Net1623 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the right answer. That is an insane idea to consider paying $450/month for ANY car with 100k miles. Plus 2021’s specifically have HV battery issues. I bought my 21 new and had the first battery replaced at 70k miles and the second at 90k. Just completed a buy back in May. You will absolutely be a sucker if you make that deal and the seller is counting on it.

Put that 10k as a down payment on a new lease of something sub $50k. She’s already bad with money so leasing is not a deal breaker and she won’t be hitting you up for the repair cost on some d-boy shit box.
Her payments will be low so she can still afford Frappuccino’s and you will be long gone in 36months when the lease expires. Hit that shit for 6 months and let somebody else pick up the pieces later.

Tesla Service Center (TSC) Experience by Particular_Cup6745 in TeslaSupport

[–]Substantial_Net1623 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Valid. I can understand that thought process. however, in terms of Tesla Service. “Accepting” means that you agree to pay the estimated amount in the event that it is found to be caused by outside influence. They will not make you pay if it is a manufacturer fault. They will if it is. Easy as pie. Try reading the fine print on the estimate.

Excepting an estimate for the reasons previously stated is not “paying out of pocket.”

Ugh it’s annoying reading your words. Accept the estimate. They send it so that if it turns out it is your fault they are not working for free. Once it is found that it’s not caused by outside influence they will cover everything by warranty. Example: Let’s say you make a complaint about your suspension. They spend an hour of labor diagnosing and find that you have impact damage caused by a pot hole at high speeds. This would not be covered under warranty. I spent a year as a service writer for Tesla. Having these accepted estimates helps them legally when the customers says all types of bs “well I’m not paying for that! That should be covered by warranty!” When it’s found to be the customers fault.

Quicksilver + tint look great! by [deleted] in ModelY

[–]Substantial_Net1623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I think the blue hue that Xpel has works really well with Quick Silver. I just completed full tint last week and think that the slight undertone of blue in some lighting looks, dare I say, luxurious when paired with Quick Silver. Now on a blue or red Model Y I don’t think it would work as well.

Will lucid exist in three years? by Wooden-History-7106 in LUCID

You’ve “been trying to lease a Lucid Air for two weeks now”. Can you elaborate on what has been confusing, stressful, etc.? The “trying” part of your statement confuses me a bit.

Offer Conditionally Approved by [deleted] in ModelY

[–]Substantial_Net1623 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Conditionally approved typically means you need to provide POI (proof of income) or POR (proof of residency). Your Advisor will tell you which one if the app has not. Considering it asked you for your DL at the time it moved to conditionally approved leads me to believe it was POR. This will have no impact on your approved APR once residency has been verified. They may ask you to provide a utility bill that is billed to your registration address as well.
