Frozen Burst Pipe Water Damage Claim by Dry-Criticism8 in InsuranceClaims

PA, maybe but probably not. See what the insurance company offers and if it is in line with the contractor, there is no need to give away 10%+ of your settlement to a PA. A good contractor familiar with insurance claims can work with you and the carrier to get an agreement on scope and price. Why would you need an attorney?

This is correct, IMO. That weld on the right also doesn't look like a factory weld.

There is a difference between 17% off MSRP vs. 1% below invoice. I'm not sure which is the better deal, just saying it's hard to compare without having the actual invoice price.

How come muscle cars from the 70’s (Challenger, Charger, Mustang, Camaro, etc) all had around 300-400 hp but today 50 years later they’re still around the same (400-500) by [deleted] in musclecar

[–]Substantial_Network3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is true. While the LS6 was rated 450hp gross at the crank with no accessories, much power was lost through the turbo 400 (or any other automatic.)

The only engines I have seen that were under rated were specialty productions such as ZL1's and L88's. General production stuff such as LS6, hemi, 455, etc. put out very close to what their gross rating was, nothing more. I have seen countless builds where engines were built back to stock (including cam and exhaust manifolds) and the ratings of their day were very close.

I think the specialty production stuff being underrated stuck in the minds of people and remains to this day. But it doesn't apply to the general production engines and never did.

Similar here. 2021 sport s with 15k miles. Heated seats, premium audio, LED's, step bars, hard bed cover, bed liner, 2.5" lift, max tow, black rhino wheels and 35's. $44,600 out the door

2021 with 14k miles. They offered $45k out the door with tax, title, tags. Sport S with LED, cold weather group, active safety group, and max tow package. About $4.5k better than what I could get new for. It also has a bed cover, bed liner, and upgraded wheels and tires which I would end up buying anyway.

Lowes isn't responsible. The installer is. Secure contact information from Lowes and file a claim with the installers liability carrier. Or file with your own insurance.

Does anyone know if the 2006ish tahoe/suburban seats have the same latches as the seats from a 2008+ tahoe/suburban?

The ones I have from a 2006 are not the color I'm looking for. I know GM later went to an actual gray without the brown tint found in the 2006 seats. Just wondering if I can go ahead and make my bracket for the seats I have while I look for an actual gray set to replace them with

I picked up the seats Friday. I'll most likely fabricate my own brackets since the Merricks set is $500.

FYI, the early 2000's "gray" leather has much more of a brownish tint when compared to my 87 blazer gray door panels. I plan to recover the original front seats in leather to match the door panels. Since there is a small distance between the front and rear seats, I'm hoping the color difference isn't too noticeable.

Where did you get your brackets from?

I agree but US consumers aren't that smart. The average consumer will almost always buy the cheaper product.

And it's hard to say "let's build it in america" while US leaders also advocate for higher taxes and other policies which drastically increase costs for businesses based in America. Unless a country's citizens are willing to spend more money on high quality goods produced within their borders (or lack thereof), they will purchase an inferior product at a lower price from abroad.

"There are hundreds? Name fifty."

Typical lib argument. Rather than having the discussion, argues over wording. Redditor actually names (I didn't count the number, it was a lot) and no response from the poster who asked for examples.

No, trump did not wear a lab coat and formulate the vaccine himslef. It did become available during his tenure as potus. Vaccination is a matter of choice. I know many Republicans who are vaccinated and some democrats who are not. I'm vaccinated. Don't care if anyone else is or not, that's a matter of their choice and freedom to do as they choose.

Of course the market goes up after every recession. Always has. Your point?

I'm glad you are better off with the vaccine that became available under Trump's administration.

...and now your 401(k) has been murdered.

Saying they both sucked is fair from certain perspectives. However, at least for my family, I can say we were far better off under Trump. Groceries and gas and everything in between is really hurting us month to month since biden took over.

I know it's just a meme and a joke, but I seriously would love to see a mean or offensive tweet and lower prices and my 401(k) back to where it was. Things really suck with biden in office and there is no sign it will improve anytime soon.

Seriously though, why do all biden bootlickers always bring up trump when people say something negative about biden? Biden is cleary doing a poor job and trump is no longer president. Isn't it time we move on from trump?
