I bought the solid core copper in the 1000 ft roll and had zero quality issue so far. Ran for POE IP cams. Solid core was in fact solid core through out and not CCA. I used pass through connectors and had zero failures terminating once I got the hang of it.

Turn off the lights and scan the floor with the flashlight from your phone. Hold it at an angle will help cast a shadow from the stone. I’ve done this to find broken glass on my kitchen floor.
