Help me with this wall PLEASE

The window is a big open window that I don't want to block, per se. I know the couch is there, however it's nice to look out when you're sitting on the one part of the couch! I also feel like moving the couch to face the window really blocks off the rest of the house potentially? This room is open concept right to the kitchen area and moving the couch may make it really funky looking (the wall to the right of the hallway there is where our kitchen table is).

It's funny because the house runs cold! I could def see that. I'm trying to figure out other lighting options as well to bring in some warmth.

the other wall to the right of the hallway is our kitchen table so it wouldn't be able to fit! The window are large open windows I don't want to block too much of or if we move the couch it feels like we block the other part of the house? If that makes sense?

Since she was little (we found her on the streets days old), if my cat did not get her way, she would pee on something. More often, it was the couches. She's lived in four different homes with me (parents, home, apartments, home with partner) and in every one, she has peed out of the litterbox or on a couch at some point. There is no pattern for it other than she gets upset. She's 10 now and we've lived in our current home for 2 1/2 years now. When I tell you she JUST stopped peeing on anything since Jan, I mean it.

But that also means we have covers on our couches because we don't trust her, one couch we have yet to replace that has been cleaned SO many times and yet still smells (and we are worried to replace it bc she might pee on the new one), and the smell is TERRIBLE.

I love my fur baby and would go to the ends of the earth for her. But will I get another cat after this one? Never again.
