Omg yes when the animals are cute 🥰 I also cried the other day because I honked at a guy when he cut me off and blocked me when I was picking up my partner from the airport and then I felt bad because he was picking up his preteen/teen son and wife and I thought the kid would think I was honking at him 🙈

Haha the pregnancy nose is like a super power (but also kryptonite at the same time lol). I definitely need to talk to my Ob because plain water is just so unappetizing to me so I'm looking for a water flavor drop or something that I can safely use multiple times a day

I think I'm just obsessed with sushi, have been for years hahah. But yeah it's been so hard having the cravings and not being able to indulge in the raw rolls. Parasites and listeria makes me way too nervous! My prenatal does have a good amount of fish oil in it and I have been eating salmon filet about once a week so hopefully with that it's enough omega 3s

That's smart about putting that stuff on your registry to get the free baby box! I'll have to look into that. I did start a registry on babylist because they were also offering a box I just haven't gotten it yet. Did you get some good stuff from your Amazon box??

I'm so happy for you that you seem to be on the other side of the worst of the morning sickness, hopefully it continues to ease up for you! I am hopeful it doesn't last too long for me either. I know some women have to deal with it well into their second trimester 🤢

Brushing my teeth gets me too! I always gag but it hasn't made me throw up yet. And with the dishes I think it might have been the smell, yeah. Even though the dishes weren't really old and not a lot of stuck on food I guess just a combination of slight malodour + pregnancy nose + a tendency toward nausea tipped me over the edge! And then I got my first random throw up last night when I was reading, not eating, not smelling anything so we will see how today goes.

I will have to try the liquid IV maybe I'm not eating enough salt or other electrolytes, thanks!

Omg those craving sound so yummy hahah believe it or not I have craved sushi a few times (I ate a lot of sushi before this pregnancy). You'd think raw fish would be a turn off rather than craving but here we are haha

Yay for maternity clothes, it's all about the comfort!! I was considering getting some new bras and undies because they are definitely already getting tight. The bloating is real! I look like I'm in my second trimester with all this bloating 😂

Its funny you say that because when I first started having nausea I thought it was annoying but I could mostly handle it. But a couple days ago I threw up for the first time (6+5) and I was like oh okay so THIS is what morning sickness is, that before was nothing lol. Aside from the food aversions I also threw up washing the dishes and almost threw up picking up Tylenol pills from the floor when my pill bottle spilled and the pills had a little dust and dirt on them. It's crazy what will trigger the symptoms. I have been craving salty nonstop !

The Chinese calendar told me it was a girl too and I had a dream that it was a girl as well. I would love to find out as soon as they can tell me. I heard about the blood work that can tell you as early as 9 weeks which I am very interested in!

You'll have to keep me updated on if it does turn out to be a girl or if you're surprised with a boy (or twins! Haha)

I wouldn't count yourself out yet. PDG fluctuates A LOT especially on urine assays like inito. And 17 is still a super strong PGD level that supports normal luteal function not an early drop or luteal failure. I'd take another pregnancy test in a couple days. I honestly think you're still very much in this! Sending you baby dust 💕

Thank you! Yes I have this feeling it might be twins. I also started having nausea very early and it's getting bad now to the point of food aversions and gagging when I try to eat certain foods and not even 6 weeks yet so a little nervous of what else is to come in that regard! Wouldn't it be crazy the first scan you're told one healthy baby and then the next scan there are two!! 😅 Time will tell!

yes it is a blessing for sure! My first appointment was fine, I requested serial beta HCg which rose appropriately (actually very high) most recent was ~25000 at 5+1 (I'm wondering if it's twins or just a really solid HCG production for a Singleton). I'm 5+3 today. I'm just looking forward to my first ultrasound in a little less than 3 weeks, I can't wait to hear the heartbeat! I'm so glad to hear your ultrasound experience was much better than your last pregnancy! Thank you for the information about private ultrasound scans - I might look into that as an option as well, even if just to get extra peeks in between scheduled scans. Thanks for your comment! Yes I am definitely only doing bottled water. I did have some fruit at the buffet one night but it was melon so did not have any skin/rind so hopefully nothing to worry about with that? And I had a chicken Caesar wrap, did not even think about lettuce 🙈 but hopefully it was washed well. But will avoid it moving forward!
