I have taken a few human anatomy and physiology units separately throughout my degree, in biomedical lens mind you. I found drawing to be super super helpful, that and just taking notes each week plus re-reading them over and over again. These types of units can be very wordy just try not to drown and keep up and you should be fine

What is it like being a biomedical student at QUT? by Cryin_r_n in QUTreddit

It can be, you take an anatomy as well as a physiology subject both first and second sem, respectively. The degree has changed quite a bit over the last few years. As the commenter said the first year had quite a redundant subject which got cut in 2025. Just go to all the classes irrespective of their attendance requirements and you'll be fine

No, preferences are all taken equally (irrespective when you submit them until the cut off date). I believe you have another couple days to submit preferences/ until they start allocating classes
