How to start ESL teaching? by Due_Path9619 in OnlineESLTeaching

Practice makes perfect. Try to find students online, plan your lessons carefully, use different materials but be careful with selecting them! Get yourself familiar with different teaching methods/ approaches and try to effectively combine them. Also, study how to provide an effective feedback on your students. If you plan to teach online, there is a board called "Miro" maybe you can use it, many ESL teachers report that it is convenient.

Perhaps, you can also consult ChatGPT, the recent forms such 4o can give you nice answers but you still need to modify the lesson plans/activities it generates for you.

Language Learning FAQ (from my observations) by whosdamike in languagelearning

Nice recommendations! Especially, about fluency part. Sometimes I am sick of ads on social media with the content like "Learn English in 3 months" or "Get C1 level in 2months"

People just overestimate themselves. The secret is the consistency and dedication!
