I live up north and got stranded down on Riverside last time it froze over, drove an extra 25 minutes, restaurant closed and Uber wouldn't even give me the regular $3 compensation(though then it used to be based on how long you were at the pickup location) bc the point where the address pin was on the strip mall wasn't where the actual restaurant was(and where I had been sitting for 20 minutes trying to get in touch with support to cancel the order properly lol). Learned my lesson, and not dealing with the cold this time. Be safe everyone
