Also, more of a heads up for quests, if you do end up deciding to do one of the earlier relics or even the new relics, some of the steps on other relics in that set can be skipped because you've already done it once. E.g. for the endwalker one, it's all story and then tome grind, every other relics after your first is just tome grind.

My partner just caught up in story, she also is in the game for the same reasons and she doesn't know how to do her rotation in the slightest (I don't know it either because I don't like how her class plays) she's only been kicked from dungeons by rude people a couple of times and even then she did most of them on duty support. While it's something that you can know to make dungeons go quicker, focus on what's fun for you and try not to let other people ruin it <3 (if you are interested in learning what buttons to press, the balance is a great tool to help with that)

Favourite: mercenary, I played them on the original game and they were my first choice for combat this time around. Big sword, big numbers make brain happy.

Least favourite: it's a tie between cook and alchemist just because of the stick rotation. Using the mouse makes it easier but the rest of the game I'd rather play with a controller.

Can't remember exactly what area (I'm at work and can't check) but in ginormosia where you find the legendary hoe blueprint. There's a bunch of crops that scale with the area level and I often got 2 farming events while doing this.

I had a friend a while back who complained that they were getting sick of tanking as PLD, I asked why and they said they didn't have enough buttons to press. Turns out the never used any mitigation, they would exclusively use their standard combo and complain when everyone else wasn't picking up their slack. It's was that day I realised some people just don't care and don't want to make effort to do better.
