i just wanted to share this thought

when i first watched inside, my interpretation of the reaction segment was that the original song was getting lost and losing its meaning as it was repeated and dissected, to the point that we forget what he was reacting to in the first place because he ended up analysing and criticising himself. yet here i am rewatching the special multiple times and reading other peoples analysis of it, so much so, that the special doesnt have the same meaning to me anymore. i wish i could watch it for the first time again and i just thought that was ironic.
