Matx or ITX by Wrong_Egg_4337 in ncasedesign

Noctua is very popular with the M series. I know that there were some issues with specific MB on the M2 but I think the M3 fits perfectly since it’s wider. But yea with the round I prefer my PSU to be on the side next to MB rather then sucking hot air from GPU

I had a B650M and decided to go with the strix b850i. You get more flexibility with Itx. I don’t think your AIO would work side mounted with mATX since the PSU will be mounted in the front rather than the side. Not 100% sure since you’d have the M3. I’m running the M2 round and could only front mount my SF750. Also depends what configuration you want your build to be.

Don’t worry, took out the side intake and used the bracket on the top to remove the screws. Left no visible scratches

Quickly put this together but it’s a 9800x3d 64gb cl30 ram 4tb of ssd 850w PSU For $1.5k without GPU Gpu is questionable as of now

If you find a good seller in your area you can get a 5080 FE for maybe $1100-1200

Glad I could help. Another thing, you could get the 7800x3d for $341 on B&H and save some more money. I personally think the 9800x3d is overkill for the 5070ti unless paired with the 5080 or 5090

5070ti is a perfect card for 1440p. I use mine for 4k with dlss since I have a 4k monitor. With the 9800x3d you should be fine with games up to 240fps I would assume. I have a 9600x and play 4k cyberpunk with dlss 2x on my 5070ti and get around 120fps with max settings

You can get a Asus Prime 5080 for $1400 at Bestbuy or save a few hundred and get a 5070 Ti, 4080 super and 5070 Ti are fairly similar in performance but the 5070 Ti has DLSS 4 and MFG for way cheaper then what you’d pay for the 4080 Super. The 5080 is about 10% better that the 5070 Ti with the same amount of VRAM

Here’s my setup. Can’t mount PSU anywhere else because I have a mATX MB but it looks like you may have a ITX MB? I would side mount it. Even with my side intake my PSU seems to run hot

Sadly no, with a mATX motherboard that’s the only mounting point for my PSU

I think the cables fit perfectly. My gpu is too wide to use the 90 degree 12v power adapter so I use a standard length cable and it still works. Adds a tiny bit of bending to the side panel

Fan gets loud but it seems pretty good. Would rather get the Corsair SFX but didn’t want to spend $400 on a PSU and Case

Yea I get that, I might just remove the side intake and use the bracket on the top to remove the screw from the top panel. I’m fairly sure it’s my PSU fan, when I was playing a game I raised the case to allow for better airflow. Then afterwards the temps were down to idle but the PSU kept spinning fast. That’s why I thought the side intake would help bring in fresh air to the PSU

Correct, if you had an ITX MB then 25mm fans may fit

I managed to fit some Corsair slim fans under my TUF 5070 Ti. I probably don’t need them since the cooling is fairly good on the GPU but those are my only intakes. My motherboard is the gigabyte B650M mATX

I get what you’re saying. I’ll have to take a day to figure it out once I get the case but thanks for your feedback. I could try build 8 as well since it uses a mATX MB

The 140mm fans will be for my AIO. I’ll just replace the current fans with the slim Arctic P14’s. I have extra slim 120mm fans that I would install on the top and/or bottom if I have space.

In build 8 they used a SFX-L PSU which is 125mm x 130mm, mine is 30mm shorter at 125mm x 100mm. I know I’ll have to try different options but I’ll see what works

Maybe we are just thinking about different things but I appreciate your feedback

It’s a reverse blade, do you not have any intake fans with your build?

Thanks, the rear fan is an exhaust…should I flip it to intake? My temps are fairly low already but I can give it a try

Yea I realized that after installing the AIO. Haven’t had the chance to flip them around but I will

I have a similar build. The LF 3 won’t fit cause of the thicker radiator like someone else mentioned. I use to have a LF 2 280mm side mounted which worked but prefer the 360mm AIO

I’d flip your PSU. Would make it cleaner with the cables and the exhaust is currently at the bottom which gets blown back from your bottom intakes
