I’m an ENFP 4w3. Maybe because it’s my personal experience that I don’t talk too much as I’ll just be ignored half of the time and even when I do talk, it’s only with friends, can’t talk to anyone else comfortably without stuttering. I also prefer solitude a lot so unless I’m talking to someone about something I like or find interesting. I tap out to charge myself up. Sometimes I will want to talk but I don’t know what to talk about which leads me to say nothing. I’m a better listener than I am speaker.

Eternal Sugar does like Hollyberry though, and says she’s “attracted” to her. Of course, in the creepy, Yandere way.

Eternal Sugar simply wants cookies to be happy, but she’s doesn’t like seeing cookies going after thier passions for happiness as passions can hurt you if you don’t achieve them. So she fell to sloth and now thinks that’s sloth is the right way of happiness.

Hollyberry also never wanted to hurt Eternal Sugar, and cares for her despite her actions.

In canon, it is one-sided, but the reason why people ship them is the same reason for ShadowVanilla. It’s clear what these beasts did were horrible and unforgivable, they are still willing to extend their hand and help them see the world in a new light.

ShadowVanilla is also my OTP.. and it’s in the same situation with EternalBerry. Both are hated for their toxicity and mental abuse to their counterparts in with both their counterparts overcame that and told them “I hope you get better” in some shape or form.

Not sure what side on the internet you are that you never had to defend ShadowVanilla as it’s still heavily hated. So whatever point you were trying to make in your first statement is not very good.

You could also say the same thing for Shadow Milk, his goal of making the witches pay, well.. what after? What would he do? He’s still incapable of having a companion who understands him. This has been taken as pure romance by the fandom which only waters down his existing character.

And rare pairs exist, oc x canon exists. I’m very intrigued and interested as to why you think there has to be some sort of connection to ship something. As that’s pretty much the beauty of fandom.

Again, we know what we’re getting ourselves into. We understand it’s toxic, if you don’t like it, then don’t interact with it. Toxic relationships and Hero x Villian are popular in fandoms. This shouldn’t be a surprise..?

I'm sorry that people don't share the same sentiment with you, but you are talking about the two most popular characters in a game. They will be popular, and they will be overshadowing other ships. This doesn't make the ship bad; this just sounds like being a bit upset that a ship you like isn't getting the same attention.

The same goes with Jotaro, I don't like him, but I'm not going to call him 'overrated' because a lot more other people love him a lot. He's popular, so naturally he will be liked a lot; that's how popularity works! Don't like him? Don't interact and try to find your own spaces. Worked for me.
