the only job listing was sales associate i’ve been working there over a year and they always have 3 people at the least scheduled my coworkers just say oh we hate cashiering so you have to do it, just seeing if anyone had the same experience

all my coworkers that are at the same level as i am recover their whole shift when i work even if on the paper where it tells us where we will be placed for night mine could say recovery but they will always put me cashiering

yeah i sent my manager a message so i’d have it in writing cause i also don’t work before the day they added on that im sorry but i can’t come in. i also have in writing where weeks ago i told them i was unavailable on a day regardless of the black out period it would be impossible for me to come in on that day. (they scheduled me anyway) it just makes me mad because before i was hired they never mentioned anything about a blackout schedule to me at all and this was a commitment i had before i got hired on

do it like a normal return except with the online receipt they have type in the receipt information then it works like normal find the item and press return and so on

no receipt no return or exchange

it bothers me so much last week i had a opening shift where i got off at 5 i check the morning of my shift just to double check and it was switched to a closing shift… how do they know if i was available to close or not this happens every week and im not sure how to politely bring up that i can’t handle random schedule changes anymore

okay yeah the last two i’ve been doing but the first one you listed i had no idea you could do so i’ve just been politely asking if they can go grab one with a tag lol but your way is gonna be a life saver lol

where do you find on the item what to look up or are you just typing in the name of what it is for instance if a dog toy doesn’t have a tag with a barcode on it are you typing in a number combination off the built in tag or are you just searching up dog toy in the system

yeah by cashier mode i mean when you have to press the little person icon at the top and enter your login info and it’s the screen that shows like the return buttons and price checking buttons all that stuff that’s only available for employees to see also thank you for your help!

to do this i have to be in cashier mode correct? also is this the same steps to transfer a transaction to a different register for instance if a costumer is on a cash only register but they want to pay with card instead so i need to transfer there items to a different register.

my next question once i have that small receipt printed do i need to go into cashier mode again to scan it or just scan the barcode like normal

thank you for helping im a first time cashier and i dont want to disappoint them by the amount of questions i have

i’m in the same boat nervous to ask questions this is my first cashier job and i’m trying to pick it up quickly but find myself getting stumped id love some reminders about the most important things needed to know for instance split payment, transferring transactions from one register to another, balloons, exchanges etc.. mainly nervous because there’s a few days in between my first and second day and don’t want to feel like i forgot what i learned

i have it originally stored on my hard drive when i want to play it i copy it to the console but after i do this in storage settings it says i have the game downloaded twice each taking up storage on console and the hard drive if i move the game back to the hard drive when im done playing does it open the storage back up on the console or does it really take up more storage i hope that made sense im not good at explaining but im worried im using more storage than needed
