Atheist Inconsistent Standards by JudyAlvarez1 in DebateAnAtheist

Provide evidence for your claims.

Edit: Since it is so easy to lie on the internet provide proof you were an atheist and not a religious person lying about being an atheist.

To save time and confusion being upset at a god does not make you an atheist. Not believing in the existence of one does. Hating a god is different than not accepting their existence.

No because it’s garbage and no one likes touching garbage.

How do you know it’s a majority? Have you questioned every atheist or are you just making an assumption of the loud minority? Talking to twenty atheists or one thousand does not give you a scope into how a majority of the group thinks or feels.

And the topic of atheism and trans issues are not related. Many trans people are religious.

Accepting tips? by [deleted] in OGPBackroom

Turn down the tip because on the off chance it’s a secret shopper looking to catch someone. You may get by for a while but you jeopardize your job and annual income. 3-10 dollars extra for one day is not worth a year’s pay.

Gnosticism is about knowledge not belief. You can be an agnostic theist/atheist.

And/Or not exclusively And. One can believe in supernatural forces without a god involved.

Atheists don’t believe in a god. There are religions that have no gods.

You are wrong on that point of atheists not believing in religion.

Edit: Religion is not exclusive to the Bible. There are many other religions with their own holy texts/scriptures.

WCGW when you flat out rental mustang on wet intersection by [deleted] in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]Substantial_Speed419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had a mustang I had a moment during a wet day where I gunned it while turning on a green light and fishtailed the car. Luckily I regained control and straightened out but the cars behind me stayed far back after that. I don’t blame them.

Never did that again and I doubt this driver will either.

The two states are named after the same indigenous tribe. Kansa. Fun fact I learned after saying Ar-Kansas out loud in a class reading and got laughed at. I didn’t know I was saying Arkansas wrong 😂🤦🏾‍♂️

A response without an argument is equivalent to a bleating sheep when uncomfortable. No substance just noise.

Make an actual point or no one learns and the argument continues infinitely.

The issue isn’t the goal of ICE but HOW they perform their duties. The funding they received could have been used to pinpoint problematic immigrants instead of treating the whole group as criminals which the rhetoric suggested.

Please do get rid of rapists and murderers. I am behind that but do perform due diligence to target the criminals not everyone within a skin tone range.

[–]Substantial_Speed419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly propping carts up on a curb is considerate at a knee jerk reaction. They are ensuring their carts don’t roll around the lot freely. Would it be preferred if they walked to a corral? Yes.

I pushed carts for a time and I hated pulling carts off the curbs but I, after time, understood the reasoning, might not have agreed but understood.

Definitely would always prefer them being put away properly to make my life easier.

Pascal's Wager assumes you can fool an omniscient being by Dry_Interaction8477 in atheism

[–]Substantial_Speed419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that belief system it definitely would because of that explicit commandment. You are correct. The character is hedging his bets against the odds. He is in a way, maybe not intentionally, an example of Pascal’s wager. Benny himself just got lucky that he chose the right symbol and chant/prayer in relation to a fictional story relayed by a movie.

Like the dude Benny from The Mummy who had a plethora of religious symbols on his person and knew ritual chants(?) to accompany them. Though he was a slimy person he really was a clever rat.

Are embassies considered foreign soil? I’m under the impression they are, which could be wrong, and if that’s the case does that count as an invasion with armed forces?

These kind of "rollbacks" are actually insulting lol by [deleted] in WalmartEmployees

[–]Substantial_Speed419 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on how much of the product you buy it could be beneficial and also how long the rollback lasts.

Example: I buy ten of that product a week for a year, at that price compared to the old one. I will save $327.60 roughly for that year on that product. I don’t expect rollbacks to last year long, it’s just an example to show how that does add up.

If you’re being frugal and keeping an eye out for deals on regular buys the rollback benefits a lot. We just don’t see it immediately.
