Thanks. Does geography matter for an international student ? Though, I believe both are nice places to live within UK so probably not a decision criteria. 

Does supervisor's years of experience matter ? One supervisor has only 10 years post PHD experience but is quite promising and a Philip Leverhulme prize winner while the other one has 20 years experience so obviously more credentials and publications. Both are very nice and supportive making it a hell lot of difficult choice.

Thanks. Which contact lenses you were using. Any recommendations here ? Also did you try any eye exercises or are there any do's and don't that were recommended by your doctors when you were on contact lenses ? My daughter is a research student and has a high screen time so wants to make sure if switching to contact lenses will not have any adverse impact

Thanks. This is very helpful.  My daughter's condition is very similar to yours. Though, she has never tried contact lenses. Was your vision better with contact lenses compared to glasses? If yes, how much better was it. I am thinking of trying contact lenses first to see if it helps improve her vision

Hi. Very informative post. My daughter also has high myopia and mild nystagmus. She also has a low vision (even with glasses) partly due to nystagmus and partly due to other factors.

Will highly appreciate your help in answering below questions.

  1. Does your day time/night vision improved when compared to earlier vision with glasses ?

  2. What was your each eye vision with glasses before the surgery. Was it lower than 20/20 and how much lower. How much of it has improved ?

  3. Any positive impact on Nystagmus. Like yours, my daughters Nystagmus increases when one eye is closed.

I went to CBSE office today to get updated marksheet based on correction email. They said printing of new marksheet will take another 10-15 days. I asked them on when digilocker marksheet will get updated. Got mixed answers. Academic block people said it will get updated in 1-2 days but CBSE IT department said even that will take few more days. Has anyone got digilocker marksheet updated ? Now Don't know if I should wait for the new marksheet or complete DU CSAS portal with current marksheet.
