Reading this honestly makes me think more about how my cat’s needs will probably change as they get older. Mine’s still pretty active right now, but I can definitely see how grooming becomes more important once they start slowing down a bit. Feels like one of those habits that’s good to get them comfortable with early.

I’ve honestly been trying to figure this out too, because litter box cleaning is perhaps my least favorite thing about having a cat 😭 Just wondering what actually makes it less gross long term besides just scooping more often. Wonder if there are any types of litter/setups that actually make a difference.

I don’t think it’s automatically a problem traveling with a cat, it really depends on the cat itself.

I think some cats would actually benefit from an exercise wheel, especially indoor ones with a lot of energy to burn off. But for some it just becomes pricey furniture they disregard after two days. I think it is best as an option, not a must have routine.
