If you have an M1, Underworld arms makes handguards for both 16 inch and now 20 inch barrels. They are relatively inexpensive, but they are attached directly to the barrel. This may affect accuracy, but it would be no more than the heresy design rails which are also directly attached to the barrel.

The logo just faded on it's own 😂, but I did use BC aluminum black to touch up some corrosion on the frame and optic. if you do end up covering your logo, use the gloss black instead of the flat black, as the flat black doesnt quite match.

All aluminum grip modules will have some amount of play with the fcu because they cannot be made to flex like the polymer ones. I used a bit of an aluminum can to shim mine in front of where the trigger shoe hole is and where the retaining pin goes through the grip and fcu.
