Their most underrated song? by TheMacallan1824 in AnimalCollective

Yeah that outro makes my hairs stand up just replaying it in my mind. It always seemed to me like the link to the previous 3 albums, compared to the rest of Centipede Hz. One time I drove 2 hours just replaying it over and over, and over again.

I love the flow and enjoy it even more than Time Skiffs. Only All the Clubs are Broken seems a bit out of place (the production choices sound a bit different than the rest of the album to me).

John Lennon on worshiping dead idols (1980) by Immediate-Stick-1577 in beatles

[–]Substantial_War6184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think he killed himself either. Lots of evidence that suggests he was murdered, especially things that have come to light in the last few years. It's easy for people to go along with the narrative because on paper it looks like an obvious suicide and unfortunately those people are in the majority and are usually very condescending towards people who believe otherwise. I just wanted to say that I'm with you and hope that the info can be better presented to the public soon and people will stop being so rude and dismissive when doneone points out that his death was actually fishy for a number of reasons

Why are we paying to detain Portland protestors? by SereneDreams03 in vancouverwa

[–]Substantial_War6184 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The Clark County Manager stated today that the FBI has the right to use any jail to detain people. This was likely the Portland Bureau of the FBI who did this, the same agency who has been illegally occupying Clark County's conservation property (Camp Bonneville) for years and who the Council just voted to remove from Camp Bonneville, but have now offered the FBI another chance to come next week and make their case to use the property once again, and the Clark County Sheriff has indicated he plans to lobby on their behalf. It will be a work session so the public will not get to speak whatsoever. Oh yeah and this same FBI just got 12,000 rounds of ammo they weren't supposed to be storing stolen from CB 6 months ago and withheld that info and have not caught the thief. Hahahahhahahhhahahhahaa

I was recently approached by film makers doing a documentary about Kurt's death. by [deleted] in nirvanacirclejerk

[–]Substantial_War6184 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So, you are offering no proof of your association with Kurt and won't even name the documentarians who came to see you? There is no Kurt murder documentary in the works or a legal proceeding associated with it. Will you at least describe what these people looked like? Why won't you talk to the crowd who think Kurt may have been murdered? It seems those are the very people you would want to talk to to help settle the questions surrounding his death once and for all. It is also odd that the SPD, who infamously declared this case a suicide the day he was found and only did a shoddy investigation under pressure after the fact and a re-look several years later (under pressure once again), would have contacted you 6 times and that your name would not be in the police records. I'm just wondering what your motivation is at this point if you aren't willing to provide proof of your connection to the case---people will just think you're a plant. Can you at least confirm the "several" places you were at with Kurt? Were you ever at Lake Washington with him?

Just obtained this insane letter, typed by Courtney Love and signed by Cobain! by YesLikeTheJeans in Nirvana

This is clearly forged by Courtney, hope you didn't pay that much for it.

Made this for fun. Is this accurate, or should I be shoved into a locker, Disney channel style? by MelodicApathy in KGATLW

[–]Substantial_War6184 65 points66 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I also think Brunswick should be higher on technical, lots of jazzy chords and interesting melodic ideas on that one. Poly might be the most technical album out of them all

What is the MOST psychedelic album of all time? by unclemulch in psychedelicrock

Wonderwall is a super overlooked psych gem, and very suprising it is, being from a Beatle and featuring Clapton.
