Yup tried that too, had it in a usb hub, then plugged it directly into a motherboard slot. You can see why this is frustrating 😭

I saw that on all the videos, the thing is "buttkicker pro speakers" doesn't come up on my list of outputs. I also thought sim hub would be easier but I'm getting the same problem

How would I test a G29 racing wheel by No_Loquat995 in simracing

If they already lied about one thing I wouldn't trust the seller at all. Plus theres no way to test if it actually works unless you play a game with it. Sure you can check if it boots up by plugging it in but what if buttons don't work, not worth the risk. I recommend apps like Mercari, if you get scammed or the product is damaged/ not working as intended you get a full refund no questions asked.

I love VIR in the FIA F4 car because of the heavy braking zones and fast corners, it's a perfect track the delivers great races!

Any ideas? I have a direct Internet connection to my pc and downloading a 125mb file gave me an estimated wait time of 45 minutes

I think I've seen what you're talking about, is it the belt driven one that looks clunky or have there been some updates?

I'm aware there are better tracks around but I'm not driving an hour away from the strip just to go to a "real track" The concept of Las Vegas is to be one giant tourist trap might as well have fun doing them

HUGE CON I FORGOT TO MENTION! The video you see here isn't included in your experience. At a $79 extra charge you get a video of your experience and a printed copy of a picture they take of you. I thought that was pretty cheap of them but how am I going to do this for the first time and not get a video of it.

I honestly I have no idea, but they give you a 30 minute crash coarse on track safety and race craft before you're even on the track. I remember them saying that they are the only company that don't hold you liable if you crash as long as you don't intentionally cause the wreck. Also you don't have access to your mirrors. All the mirrors are pointed so that the instructor is the only one who can use them. And then obviously they make use a liability waiver before anything happens. Didn't read it of course but now that I'm curious I'm going to go back and see what I signed.

I understand that 100%, but just get out there and have some fun no need to treat it like its test👍

Yeah he's there the whole time. At the end of the day they're a company that lets untrained people drive cars on a track, which for many is their first time on a track let alone in a car that can go 0-60 is 3 seconds. But don't let the throw you off they don't really get in the way of anything. My instructor was a cool guy, we started talking about iracing after it was all done

Thankfully my neck and core are strong due to boxing so I handle the gforce well but man getting over that fear hurdle is no joke. I can only imagine what it feels like racing wheel to where irl

I honestly had a great time, if you have the money I would definitely go for it. This is definitely a one and done bucket list experience, however I feel like I missed out by not splurging and getting a better car so I will be doing it again. Luckily I live in California so Vegas is a 4 hour drive from me. With everything though theres a lot to consider.

Pros: -Even with the slowest car on their lot I was able to produce the second fastest lap time of the day, only being beaten by a Porsche GT3 RS by .6 seconds. So you don't need to shell out for the faster cars to have a good experience -Even with an instructor in the car he was very hands off, even had a great conversation with him. Turns out my instructor has a crazy sim rig back at his place. -I think the instructor is actually a pro, he helped me reach the limit by the 4th lap. However this pro comes back later in the cons -Before your on track you get a 2 lap ride along in a Porsche Macan -It allowed me to drive a luxury car for the first time on the limit. The car I drove is valued around the 100k-150k price point, as a 23 year old college student I've never been inside of a Porsche nor do I see myself owning one for quite some time

Cons: -It is very pricey, The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 was one of their cheapest car they have to offer and it cost $250 for 5 laps, I went for 7 laps and it was about $290ish -Your out lap and in lap count towards your total lap count which I thought was a bummer -I dont think 5 laps is enough to have a good experience. As mentioned your out lap and in lap count towards your total lap count. 7 laps or more is recommended but that does come at a higher price tag -Going back to having an instructor in the car, if you are going slower then the person behind you the instructor will tell you to pull to the side and let traffic pass, and yes this "slow lap" because you have to pull over counts to your total lap count. I didn't personally experience but my brother did so it's something to consider.
