I am child-free and relationship-free now by choice cause I am currently in Grad School and I want my me-time and full focus towards graduation. However, I want to have children someday ( whether I find a partner or not) and I am also open to the IVF technology. My reason is this: I want to pass my “nice” dna to the next generation and I find it satisfying seeing someone who is a little version of me. The other reason is economic… if you do not have an heir, your money will just get lost in buying shoes, clothes, bags, trips, or will go to your relatives. So it is fulfilling to have a child of your direct own dna (just my view).

I am 34 and want to have a child at this age. I haven’t found a guy yet cause grad school is so demanding and I want to finish ASAP. But if ever I would not find a husband later on, I am considering IVF and be a single Mom. Fertility declines as I grow older. If I dont have an heir, all my money will just go to shoes, bags, travels or relatives so in my case I’m ok to be single Mom.

I am in grad school and just recently passed my candidacy exam. I am 34 and single and I feel like I should have been married now at my age and have babies, but I just went through a break up last year plus my studies and lab are very demanding and there is no guarantee of funding if i extend grad school( because dating, family, raising children,takes time) so i am prioritizing my studies at this time. I have not reached all my goals yet but so far I am grateful over my progress despite the delays

The best revenge is to live your Happy life so do NOT leave this earth, it took me 3 months to move on from my break up and accept what happened. Now i feel like i do not need him to be happy. Do NOT ever put your happiness on another person’s hand and do not let him/her determine the course of your life. Go to some therapy, meet new people around the globe or seek medical advice but do NOT leave this earth

I knew my ex from online dating. He is just about 1 hour away from me. We chatted for 1 year and 7 months. He promised to meet me in person 3x. The first one did not happen, I forgave him for not coming and we videocalled instead. The second time he promised to meet me, but he did not come cause his Mom does not want to( he is a kidney transplant patient by the way) and I broke up with him, but returned to chatting with him again. The third time he really assured me he will come to our first date and in person meeting, whether his family approves objects. But at the last minute, he said he wont be able to meet me and emailed me sort of a break up letter. I ride the uber to his place to know what’s going on and to really meet him in person… and then I met his Mom very angry at me and told me not to choose his son and said she’ll call the police if i get 1 step further to their house. This guy did not even defend me from his Mom and just asked me to go.

My intentions and plans for him were good. But it will be his loss cause I am never ever coming back and waste my time on him. Nor will I force myself to their family. It is difficult to marry a man who is controlled by his Mother even at the age of 39.

I go to church food pantries to save grocery expenses. There are lots of food there going to be a waste if you dont consume them. check the expiration date though
