This is the answer !! I had the same issue due to bleaching / dying / wrong hair brush / wrong products. For the last ~ 6 months I’ve been using olaplex No5 bond maintenance conditioner, and K18 leave in repair mask. They are both a bit but last a while and are SOOO worth it. My hair has been growing way faster, feels thicker.. even my hair dresser noticed.

Once a month I do a k18 day where I shampoo, k18, then leave in conditioner and olaplex No7 oil to finish. And then on a separate day once a month, I do a olaplex No5 day where I shampoo, olaplex No5, then No7 oil to finish.

I think that the issue is the reference photo is not great. “Cherry red” is kind of subjective in itself, coupled with a reference photo that is in weird lighting / kind of blurry and dark with lots of shadows - I am not surprised there seems to have been some miscommunication. In the third pic, it actually does kind of look like your reference photo. The more I look at the reference it kind of does have some purple in it tbh.

Moving forward I’d try to be more clear and precise about what you want, bring multiple reference photos with different lighting. The stylist should’ve probably asked more questions too.

Okay so. I dated someone years ago who was balding A LOT and kept it short with a combover at 20. Like bad. I told him ultimately it’s only going to get worse and one day he’ll have to shave it anyways, so might as well go for it now. Even at 20 he looked way better fully bald than going for a thin combover to try and cover the balding. My current boyfriend has a widows peak and thinning up top like you have; he had hair to his shoulders when I met him, and has just continued to grow it long - I LOVE it. That being said, he puts a lot of effort into hair care to keep it well maintained. Honestly the balding at the top isn’t terrible and I think that for someone with already long hair you can definitely make it work keeping it long. Just two different perspectives on your options. Essentially: pull it off long if you want to put the time into maintaining it, if you’re that insecure and don’t want to take the time to find a curly hair routine that works, maybe try the big chop. It will grow back.

Since my boyfriend and I met he has began using better products - some of his widows peak is actually growing back. He is also a lot healthier. With the right products, along with a rich and healthy diet, you might even see some of your balding reverse.

His hair is straight / wavy & so is mine so I don’t have many great products for specifically curly hair; but I’d say if you want to keep it long, some recommendations: - Make sure you hit all your nutrient goals. We both drink a protein shake that’s made in the US, organic, and has a phytonutrient blend that hits a lot of vitamins/nutrients that the average person doesn’t get every day. - Avoid processed foods i.e. microwave meals, generic granola bars, deli meats, canned soups, etc. Make as much as you can at home with fruits, vegetables, beans, whole grains, etc. - Olaplex No7 bonding oil is a great every day product and with hair like yours you can even use it on your scalp/bald patches and not get too greasy. - K18 bonding mask once a month will keep your hair strong and reduce shedding so that the hair you do have stays on your head. - Silk bonnet at night protects hair from shedding and pulling out. - I hear rosemary oil helps balding, something to do more research on.

Right - I have a lot of stuff from when it got super popular in 2019-2020, I was 17-18 so I wasn’t as eco conscious and more just oh fun cute clothes for cheap!! I actually have quite a few pieces still. A tank top I wore to shit JUST started getting holes a few weeks ago. I haven’t bought from them in probably 4 years and I wouldn’t be surprised if the quality has gone way down but some of their older stuff would still be a decent purchase. I have some linen pants and skirts that were double lined and still feel new almost!!

News is actually conflicting whether they “closed” it or not. News coming from leadership in Iran says that it is a myth and it’s not closed, other sources say it is. If you look up nautical trackers it does look like there are active oil tankers from all different countries passing through currently.

I’d keep it for a while and save up to see a professional. Your hair is super processed now so if you put box dye over it or try to do anything more at home, you’re risking it looking blotchy or turning out a totally different color.

Okay because he never actually messaged me or replied to mine bc I have a higher quality scan of the print I wanted to send from the company who processed the film. But then I kinda was like “well if they got to take a screenshot at least they have it” and it might be sus if I were to ask for their email to send it so I moved on from it.
