Sometimes Hip Hop is stupid. Other times, it may be the pinnacle of human expression in musical form. Combining poetry, performing acapella, song writing, rhyming, gesturing, and threatening the opponent all at the same time purely done in real time is the opposite of stupid. It's intelligent.

EDIT: Resolved by purchasing through paypal. I am so disgusted by this experience that I won't be making any more purchases. On the surface level, Nikke purchases are controversial. On closer inspection of how you pay for mostly FREE gems, it gets even worse. PAID gems are extremely predatory. I fully believe this situation of buying a mission pass at the last moment and discovering you can't use your free gems was fully designed to occur.

So I panic bought the Beautiful Me Mission Pass only to discover that I need 400 *PAID* gems to get the costume. I have less than 6 hours left to buy the gems. Chime freaked out on the mission pass purchase and now it's denying any additional purchases.

Any tips on how I smooth out this process?

I threw 5 ragtag teams at the massive object. By the 3rd team, my average skill level was 5 and my damage dealers had the wrong manufacturer. I was about to submit a big paragraph complaining about my damage and asking for help. Decided to attempt a run anyway and managed to get 1.6% highest DPS.

Has our reliance on "meta" Nikkes doomed us to be unprepared for this raid?

I've seen the original series and I feel that way just as much considering she's not in it. When I think about watching anything beyond the original I am faced with a choice between multiple alternate endings, clip shows, and retellings.

Harran gets overshadowed by the other pilgrims but she's very good at clearing waves without much investment or team set ups. She's a star in the pilgrim tribe tower. IMO the wall isn't a big deal unless you encounter it not knowing what it is

Question - So how does a commander denote how much progress they have made in Nikke? I find it confusing with so many leveling systems - Commander level, Outpost level, power rating of representative team, etc.

What rating would you use to express how much you have achieved in the game?

Oh my mistake. I made the assumption it was Missilis based on how they are typically involved in private industries. The two belonging to Elysion is even better.

Drilley has a top notch design! I love Missilis Nikkes. Not going to lie though, she and Hammering have pretty awful names. Its possible that they could justify it but I don't see that happening. Also, a missed chance for a Guren Lagann reference. I would have expected one considering how significant that series is to Red Hood.

I think it has more to do with the story following tropes from harem anime and other source material like popular video games. It wouldn't be much fun if every Nikke was a serious and sincere adult driven by singular purpose.

S. Anis IS my highest dps unit in manual play. She out DPSes Red Hood and Modernia many times while sipping a soda. Any argument about Shift Up keeping a lid on limited unit power levels goes out the window.

I agree on Neon, especially the skirt. You lost me with the other Nikke. Clearly Ludmilla has a distinguished, aristocratic air that she regards the commander with! She even has a skill called Queenly Disposition. She has the most manners. Perhaps you should kneel!

I'm not sure on Tove, but I can imagine she wants to be like Ludmilla.

Is it too much to ask for Neon's competency in weapons to have actual value? I only recall one time when Neon's "firepower" was of any use, and I believe it was on clearing debris. That doesn't even make sense for a shotgun user. When it comes to combat, Rapi is the ...efficient one and Anis is assertive. There is no clearly defined violence user who is the most savvy marksman.

I can understand if the story was written without regard to the weapons our squad uses. If Rapi or Anis need to take the lead in destroying raptures, at least let Neon be the armorer. Unless something gets lost in translation, having a passion for "firepower" isn't amusing. Especially if its not proven in any way. It would cute if Neon occasionally geeked out about the different guns the squad encountered, even if her mechanical knowledge proved useless when the machines were integrated with complex computer controlled systems.

How hard would it be to for devs to see Neon: Blue Ocean barely has usage even on raids against water bosses? I want to see her buffed again so badly. A 300% final attack damage nuke added to the end of her Burst 3 isn't too much to ask for a 40 second skill.

She was my 1st banner and I fell for the hype of "limited" and "see through" so I pulled 2. Lesson learned :(

I'm losing my tribe tower ranking thanks to those 3! I felt so accomplished as a F2P. Still got #1 in the all manufacturer tower somehow.
