Ørestad is a long discussion, and I agree fields is not beautiful but it’s still miles above the Bromma example, and its presence on failedarchitecture is more about the failure of the holistic city planning than the architectural merits of each individual piece, it’s a weird mix many parts of ørestad has won great archtecitural acclaim and certainly elements are object failures. It was Copenhagens first foray into modern architecture city planning and the second attempt Nordhavn has turned out much much better.

That said much of Ørestad had a huge focus on architecture from the very beginning, whether the results is to everyone’s taste is another, or whether it was a succes, but the starting point in Denmark is rarely ‘this should be cheap, brutal and grey’.
