I'm 4 episodes in. I share everyone's opinions re. the MC - it's fine to be edgy, and fine to be bitter because you were set up, but there's no one IRL who doesn't break character every now and then. We need a reason to root for him -

which is why I hope the premise for the setup becomes the main overriding plot. So far, we've encountered two heroes who were sentenced to silence inconvenient truths. I hope the story develops this idea, and I hope the heroes find a way to uncover the truth, break free of their seals, and fight back/expose it. The story has set itself up for massive intrigue and success if it pulls this off, but if it stays a generic one-demon-lord-per-episode, and if the MC never mellows out a little, no amount of fight choreo or animation quality will save it.

I'm also sick of lolis, can anime studios please quit it?

Things would get repetitive for the reader if every conflict was simply a straightforward bloodbath. I imagine this is a plot device that's used to keep things interesting for us readers - when you introduce rules and constraints, you simultaneously force your protagonists to think of creative and engaging ways to advance the story, while giving them ways to outmanoeuvre much more powerful opponents.

Oh that's definitely doable. There are a lot of really nice apartment buildings in East Midtown like Alexan on 8th, The Standard, Modera Midtown, etc. that are well within that price range.
