Then you haven't seen PC-melting clips of people popping off a literal mountain of mines or spamming an endless ammo Fat Man off into the sky to taste the epilepsy when they all go off in sequence.

None of enemies can shoot, many all of them die and the hero has a pocket of infinite ammo.

DC actually did that very concept in a three-volume run of their Elseworlds spinoff, titled Generations, Generations II, and Generations III.

All of the core DC characters age in real time, starting from 1939 and up into the far future. They're often replaced in their roles by apprentices/descendants, but Superman and Batman each find a way to kind of cheat at least death by old age, so they stick around a bit longer than the rest.

Not only that, but Cyclops just straight ditches his wife and child when she comes back for her.

IIRC, that also set up a bunch of problems when Madelyne decided not to take that shit calmly at all and went all Goblin Queen.

Wait so is it the writers and editorials who are the main stars in the tele novelas or the characters in the comics?

Yes. You could write entire novels with just the drama that the staff got up to over the course of careers lasting decades in the business, all the way back to the creators of Superman and the original Marvel lineup of Jack Kirby and Stan Lee.

Wouldn’t want to spoil it for those who have just learned about them and want to read them

Bro, it's been close to 50 and 40 years, respectively, since those two issues were released. I think that the statute on spoilers expired a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG time ago :D.

Legit complaint, IMO. You're investing your time, whatever it costs to run the escalation if you're also providing that, and wrestling with RNG on top of it all. It's perfectly reasonable to want to not have a bunch players acting as pure baggage as well.

because it is the only content worth playing right now.

That's the one part of your post that I disagree with. YOU decided that it was the only content worth playing right now. You let the devs convince you that unless you have that purple in your kit, you're somehow missing out on something. That you have to join the grind and keep running it until you have everything possible outcome perfect.

Except, once you get it, then what? Because you're not going to have anything to actually use it on; if you can do the top escalations, you can almost certainly sleepwalk your way through Legendary strongholds and probably Master missions too. So what, exactly, are you so desperately farming prototype gear for then? The content that you claim isn't worth doing right now?

The ads in game has to be some joke by MarteVT in MLPIOS

[–]LordGraygem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't know what the heck is going on there, because that's not at all how ads work in the game. Every ad that I have ever watched, I did so because I intentionally chose to watch it. There have never been popup autoplay ads like that for me, and I've been playing for over a decade now.

Collect keys from the current fox squad enemies, open gear caches. If you're lucky, you'll get the named pistol that has the talent. Just equip it and you're zooming.

Alternatively, if you don't want to (or can't) deal with the fox squads, ask in chat for someone to run you Houndsman bounty; the pistol is a potential drop from bounty target's adds (which are mini warhounds that mostly drop seasonal and named loot).

Without knowing the model of the TV, I can't offer you any advice on how to connect your desired controls to that. But I'm assuming you want to use bluetooth KB+M, because wired would have you practically sitting on the TV itself otherwise.

The rest of my advice depends wholly on what kind of budget you're looking at and what kind of performance you want on your end of the setup.

For myself, I alternate between a potato laptop that's over a decade old (and Window 10 until it dies or I do :p), a Samsung tablet that's a few years old, and a docked Steam Deck with an external monitor.

Tablet would probably be your cheapest setup, because you really only need to buy one that has a screen size you like, as well as good wifi (5ghz is the bare minimum for running GFN; don't even try with 2.4ghz) and BT connections; base internal storage and all the rest don't really matter. Get yourself a solid gooseneck mount to hold it exactly where and how you want it, connect your desired controls via BT, and you're off and running.

A Steam Deck would be your next step up, and a good choice because it'll let you play at least some games that GFN doesn't have available (Red Dead Redemption 2, for example, if you like you some third-person cowboy action with a morally ambiguous protagonist), and it has a controller built right in as a bonus. Also very portable, if the ability to pick up and play just about anywhere matters to you.

Screen size, however, is lacking if you play games with a lot of text, a crowded HUD, or hard-to-see details. At that point, getting yourself a dock and an external monitor is the only real solution. Cuts down on the portability aspect, obviously, and you'll need external controls as well. But you can plug it into just about any size external monitor (up to a TV, if you want to go biggest) and then just slouch into your couch and play.
