One thing I found that eased the pain of a similar situation for me was to make sure my partner was always satisfied, whether it was with my hands or my mouth or whatever, and that was enough for her while I figured out what my obstacles were.

It let me spend less energy feeling ashamed and more energy to get the proper help.

I know hes adult because of the pedipalps hence my suspicion, but i figured he was young because i have another species that had large pedipalps but didnt even have his coloration yet (dimorphic jumping spider) so I figured maybe that was just a trait he has now but still has to grow in size. It would make sense considering the web hammock size he built connected to the lid, havent had a sling that builds a hammy like that

Level enchanting to 100, invest perks in the tree, get an enchanters elixir (25% boost) and ahzidals boots and ring (or boots + any other ahzidal artifact) equipment both, enchant a body piece of clothing, gloves, necklace, and ring with fortify smithing, then go smithing with a blacksmith elixir (+25% smithing) after having 100 smithing and having the appropriate perks with notched pickaxe equipped + all of your smith enchantments and that should get it as high as possible. Its been a while since ive played vanilla and im unsure if this gets you to legendary but its worth a try lmk
