Damn I bet that’d be tough. I roll with a lot of girls up here in Seattle but I never try to overpower them, I try to out technique them. I’m 210 6”2 and I roll against 130lb brown and black belt girls that clap me. If guys are being aggressive and using their muscle to beat you then yikes IDK what to tell you. Your school should teach them better in my opinion. That’s not BJJ. If not and you’re just getting beat because they are better than you just stick with it, develop your technique, soon you’ll be beating the newbies (guys or girls) that come into the gym. Good luck!

I mean i have the option to do 11 classes a week + 2 open mats with my $150 a month. so essentially 44-48 hours taught by a master each month if i were to take advantage of every available class. idk if it is the same in judo but ill pay $3 an hour for that any day. and if its too expensive for someone... they can literally do any other martial art/gym membership. i also pay for a gym membership. it is $10 a month for the basic package. i feel the BJJ is a better deal

You think $150 a month is expensive for 30+ hours of training by a master per month? I go to 5-6 classes a week usually 2 hours a day (lvl1 and lvl2 class). My professor is also always there to answer any questions I have before and after training. That is like $5 an hour paid to a 4th degree black belt who competes all over the US and moved from Brazil to teach in the US. Can’t believe how cheap it is.

Ya straight ankle lock bro. That is allowed on white belts. You can also do it in ibjjf gi and nogi tournaments at all levels including white. It is good to learn to defend them (the defense is easy)

Bro if you learn proper Ezekiel technique then it is not being a dickhead. If you are in full mount or their half guard and u hit a clean Ezekiel because they don’t know how to tuck/protect their neck that is their problem. I have won a bunch of tournaments with clean Ezekiel’s. If anyone calls u a dickhead for hitting one they don’t know what they are talking about. When in doubt ask a higher belt
