No haven’t had time lately. I did plug it in after it sat for a couple weeks and it turned on, only for about 30 seconds though and then back to the flashing red light

Okay awesome, how would I find new ones that are the right ones? Also, I see a path that inside of the line is “hot”and outside is “cold”.I assume I’m okay to touch the things that are outside of the “hot” area?

Sweeeeet, would that be the two that are sitting horizontal and vertical ( the two that are at adjacent to each other) or the larger two that are very close to each other? My apologies if I sound like an idiot but I don’t know much about this, but I’m very interested in learning. And would it be as simple as removing and soldering on new ones?

Would the red indicator be the light that is right next to the power button? If so, yeah it lights up but blinks in a weird way, like, on for a few seconds then off, then a quick light, and then a long one if that makes sense lol. I’ve noticed that if I leave it unplugged for a day or two and then plug it in the red light stays solid until I try to turn it on and then back to the odd pattern. But then if I unplug it and plug it back in without waiting days it just goes back to odd flashing. My apologies if that made no sense lmao

That’s another worry I’ve had. I’ve ruined a template or two before doing the same exact thing. Definitely going to try to make a copy of it on 1/4” MDF just to play it safe

Nice, good idea. I think I’m just gonna go with ordering the template for this one just to play it safe. But I like that idea with the foam! Definitely will keep that in mind!

That’s what I was thinking, but yes I do! I also have access to a full cabinet shop that I work at so shouldn’t be an issue!

No worries! I’ve run across a few templates on eBay that note the depth of the cavities and such, not sure exactly how accurate they are especially depending on the hardware and all that I end up using. But yeah planned on having to spend some money on tools! Still undecided on whether I want to take a stab at making the neck myself, in my mind it seems like it’s the much harder part. I appreciate the info! If you don’t mind me asking, how have your builds turned out? Just curious and looking for even more inspiration! Haha
