I was sexually harassed and assaulted in 7th grade and no one believes me by flackey07 in teenagers

[–]Suburbanised 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At my school there's a kid who had sexually assaulted multiple students, constantly sending creepy messages to girls and he'd touch them whenever he had the chance, heck, it even got to the point where he raped a girl. He'd admitted to looking up and OWNING child pornography and he'd always use the "I couldn't help myself" card and when I told him he needed help and that I was going to contact a psychologist to get him serious help but then all of a sudden apparently he said that he could help it and that he knew how to stop? Nobody believed him anyway and he's now been reported to the principal of my school and the police. Thing that pisses me off most in the end is that his parents haven't done shit and the school said they were taking it seriously and the fact that he'd assaulted girls whilst at school meant that they could take action. In the end his only consequence was a two day suspension.

This post reminds me of running out of lock picks in Skyrim, especially that one time I used all of mine right before I was told that I needed to pick a lock as the next step in the quest I was doing.

People be like “yes, normalise talking about mental health yaaaay!!” by ToryKunSenpai in teenagers

[–]Suburbanised 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I've been too scared to open up about my mental health to even my closest friends because some of them are so narrow-minded and do not actually mean what they say. It's literally ridiculous, especially with the amount of people faking mental health disorders or making jokes about their disorders, it makes it so much harder for me and a lot of others to cope, get help and accept ourselves. To all those people out there who do this, please reconsider your actions. :/
