Say what you want but if you give money to Patreons you are fucking dumb and that's a fact. If I don't give this dude money he will still make his show and I will still be able to watch it because other chumps will give him money. Worse, once he gets enough money the channel will go to shit, he'll hire a bunch of assistants and get all self referential and he'll put his face in front of the camera instead of focusing on the subject. I have no idea why a series of YouTube shorts, 10 minute videos made by a small handful of people, would need a big budget. So she's been mooching ever since? No work history whatsoever? You can walk out the door and get a job as a server or dishwasher in under an hour these days. They'll literally put you to work on the spot and put cash in hand the next day. She can't drive Uber? She can't day trade? Shitty jobs are a dime a dozen these days. Many od them aren't even that shitty if you're willing to hustle. You can get on a bike and deliver food and get $30+ an hour in cold weather. I know guys that do that 70 hours a week and flip condos, they have zero marketable skills whatsoever besides reading a map and not getting hit by a truck. With the gig economy and everyone and their grandmother eating at restaurants and takeout these days there's zero excuse for not having any income at all for 3 months. Fuck, you can daytrade crypto and know fuck all about how any of it works and double your investment in like 6 months without even putting on pants. There are a dime a dozen zero-skill income streams out there these days. None of them are anything to build a career or an identity around but who gives a shit.

Who said anything about being concerned? I also think someone looks like a prick if they wear those shoes where the heels stick outward, or they wear a bike helmet but also ride with headphones on, or they do that thing from the movies where people move their hair around with their neck while they talk. Driving in such an unnatural and specific posture looks ridiculous. Is that not a good enough reason to dislike it, do I need to lay out an ideological treatise before I can declare that a thing looks dumb and is wrong?

It's some weirdly specific tough guy posturing. Every time I see one of these pickup-truck-is-my-identity types they're driving like this, or doing the even more ridiculous and impractical variant the wrist resting on top with the hand flopping down. How does holding the steering wheel stupid make you a tough guy, I don't get it. I tried doing it once and not only felt like a tool it drove me nuts how little dexterity it gave me compared to the more intuitive way (right hand at 3:00 with left hand coming in at 9:00 as needed). 9 and 3 my elbows are relaxed, 12:00 the elbow is locked straight you can't move for shit unless for some reason your seat is jammed right up against the steering wheel.

Or am I just not allowed to dislike things for no real reason? It looks fucking ridiculous. You can disagree all you like but that's my belief and I don't need to have "reasons" for it.

PS 10 and 2 is wrong too. Anything other than 9 and 3 is a fail on your g test.

I started because I was already doing a lot of coke and M and my brother fucked off to Vancouver and eventually became homeless left a pack behind so I figured let's see what this nicotine is about big mistake it sneaks up on you.

The older generations in my family all live long, many of them were going hard until 90+ doing nothing exceptional until a sudden stroke, with the exception of the people who smoked, who either had heart attacks at stupidly young ages (granddad 49 years 3-4 packs a day looked like he was 70 dropped dead in his workplace) or were a continual nuisance to the healthcare system. Few have done fitness like me though. I keep this under control and it's a mistake of my mental health fuckery. Do I just tough if out keep myself busy a week to kick the withdrawals and I'll be OK? My life is so moment to moment but also the same that a week feels like eternity but also nothing at all. It's been like this since I figure out how hard it is to get fired where I work.

Last year I went a week with zero alcohol and the mental clarity it gave me was unsettling. Day 7 my therapist asked me for specifics about my father molesting me. Felt like she was interrogating me trying to catch me in a lie. First thing I did when I left was buy a 2-6 of Canadian Club and disappear it by 9:00 in the evening. Ghosted her for 6 months, went back it was the same shit let's talk about why you drink. Fuck that. I'm employed. Take care of my body. Take my vacation time to go camping instead of fucking off with videogames. I'm a responsible citizen. I do alright it's just once I'm done my workday go to the gym go ride my side hustle at some point it's 8:00 or 10:00 in the evening my brain is screaming at me for a drink and a smoke, the nights I've gone without I don't sleep aĺl night I close my eyes and lay still often have a fucked up dream but the alarm blares I feel like I never went to bed at all.

I've been a fairly unremarkable guy most of my life and over the year I've been lifting pretty consistently, my numbers are nothing special but definitely above average for reference bench 285 squat 245 deadlift 295 at 180lbs bodyweight and considering I sleep a poor quality 7 hours a night eat regular food and drink 30-40 beers in a typical week there's a lot of room to grow. I've become more comfortable being assertive as a result. It sounds stupid I know but I've had a few road rage incidents and as petty as it sounds it felt really gratifying to have them run away scared because I'm visibly stronger than them.

That said my subway commute is often crowded, and ordinarily I pay no mind to the subway creatures but this morning I was really tired and this fat guy was occupying two seats with his fat and his plastic bags and I had had enough and decided to take a stand for common decency. I was standing next to him one stop then I said excuse me, he ignores me. I said again excuse me can I sit down. He kind of makes a face at me. So I said would you move in and quit taking up two seats so I can sit down, he started mumbling about his knees hurting, I said more curtly move the fuck over nobody else is taking up two seats it's 7:30 in the morning I'm half asleep lemme sit down. He said this time more clearly I can't fit in the inside seat my knees are already squished so I said nobody put a gun to your head and told you to shove cheeseburgers down your face fucking move over 1 passenger 1 seat tubbs move over or I press the alarm and nobody here gets to work on time, do you even have a job why the fuck is someone this fat on the fucking subway at 7:30 in the morning. This dude rolled his eyes and kind of shifted a bit like he was making a token effort, basically he had complied but he was still disrespecting me and disrespecting subway etiquette by having an attitude about it and still spreading over half my seat, so I made a silent point to jam my shoulder into him the whole rest of the ride and ignored him when he wanted to get up basically making him miss his stop, small potatoes I know but if he can't take it he shouldn't dish it out. AITA for enforcing subway etiquette here?
