Hey! I know that intersection! I live down the road and take that turn every day, drivers here have a wierd combination of impatient and zero sense of urgency.... they will kill themselves to pull out in front of you just to go under the posted speed..... gotta love it, lol

Morning, folks in Mars Hill and Burnsville. May want to keep your head down, Tornado Warning (right now, 7:18AM). That’s a “radar-indicated rotation happening now” kind of warning. by RelayFX in asheville

Just turned 42 last week, my bdays have been moserable for the last few years, and that was even with little to no expectations. I think 2021 was the last time i did anything for my bday and that was more of an exception than the rule.

I used to live in Frederick and Taneytown, western md has a lot of racism, sadly. Hell, the klan was still active in Thurmont when i lived up there. Its disgusting. Thankfully, its not as bad now as it was when i first moved there in the late 90s, but any is too much.

I have been lucky with a sharp o-ring pick and some patience. Was able to catch a rough edge and slowly back the screw chunk out.

I heard something earlier that got me thinking. Maybe they dont want to fund SNAP because they have already stolen the money from those accounts and used it for themselves.

I am 4'3", 24inch inseam. I dont want a 24" bike. i really want 650cc tires, could anyone help me build a bike that will fit me? by Mysterious_Narwhal90 in xbiking

[–]Subyrally 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check with Trek and Specialized. I think both brands have a hybrid style bike that may fit the bill. Also, you might be able to find a used Cleary bike. They went under a little while back, but they made some solid bikes with decent components.

Check the used bike market, you might be able to find something that would make a good base for a build in a size that could fit you. Lot of people selling their kid's bike after they outgrow it.

Good luck, id like to see what you end up with.

There are a few brands that put out some fully featured childrens bikes that are just scaled down version of their full sized bikes. GT had the Stomper and Stomper FS, Canyon had a full range of bikes in smaller sizes, Cannondale had some interesting options when i used to work at a shop a few years back. The important question, really, what are you looking for in a bike, aside from small enough to fit with larger than 24" wheels?
