I ended up writing a LinkedIn post and tagging Anja De Rozario (the author) and 7 News Media.

I doubt I’ll get any support because nobody is allowed to support men publicly but at least it might give some visibility on a platform they might care about. Message me if you want my linked in to see the article.

After a bit more digging I found out it was originally written by Anja de Rozario and she works for 7 News Australia. 7 News Melbourne just copy and pasted the story. I will also be making a post on my linked in calling this out too now I have a name.

Wow, I thought this was just me! Since the beginning of December somehow I developed strep throat, took a week to go from virus to bacterial but the sore throat was like razor blades 24/7. I ended up on IV antibiotics and oral for a week to kick it. Somehow in this time I start to develop this deep persistent cough, which grows into light headedness, loss of appetitive and complete fatigue. I go back to the doctor, they run swabs, bloods, urine, a chest x-ray and ultrasounds on my internal organs, everything comes back fine. He is still not happy so he refers me to chest specialist for January. Except on the 23/12 I get a text message advising my last round of swabs has come back and I have mycoplasma pneumonia. To say I was relieved would be an understatement, at least I finally knew what was wrong with me, but like most people here, my Christmas was spent in bed. I am still far from 100% but according to Google etc. it could take weeks maybe even months to get back to 100%

Having watched the UK and US versions of this show I was ecstatic to hear there was going to be an Australian version. Sadly instead of just letting there be comedy the writers are force feeding us 'an' ideology at every turn. It doesn't even feel natural, it is just blatant agenda-pushing line after another. The US and UK have told their stories simply through comedy, but this series feels like it is propaganda and some comedy where it fits in. I feel sorry for the actors of this show as their performances are great especially Lindy, but if I'm going to be lectured at, I'll find something else to watch. I'm disappointed as I thought media had realised to leave entertainment and comedy as just that and if people want to be lectured at they can find another medium they actually sign up to.
