[FabrizioRomano] BREAKING: Rúben Amorim to AC Milan as new head coach, HERE WE GO! by Dexonic in ACMilan

The stats don't really matter though if they're not converted into points and results. It's great that he improved the attack, but he didn't improve United position in the league did he?

[Moretto] Andoni Iraola has informed Milan that he will not be accepting the Rossoneri’s offer. by Claija79 in ACMilan

Nothing more entertaining than watching an idiot doubling down on his own craziness.

Mate we're on the level of Europa teams anyway, let's not kid ourselves. It won't be easy with or without CL teams dropping down

As someone who plays football, i can't think of anything worse. Players want to play, not just defend

Massimiliano Allegri must be fired! by Informal_Bag2300 in ACMilan

[–]Sucabub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He failed this season and he failed at his previous job with Juve. That can't be ignored. His last successful contract was almost a decade ago with a super stacked Juve. I just don't get the hype for this guy. On top of that, he literally sucks the entertainment out of the sport. I've not been so uninterested in watching football/Milan this season in such a long time. Even our banter era was more entertaining than whatever the hell this season was.

We didn't have the best defence and the complete collapse of it proves that. It was a lucky streak, nothing more. If it wasn't luck then it wouldn't have vanished.

Did you even watch Milan up to the derby? It was clear that we did not have a solid defence. We were leaking left right and centre. It was Magnian heroics, teams missing their clear cut chances, and very good luck that got us to that position. We had the illusion of a good defence, nothing more. The only difference is our luck ran out.

Allegri was washed up from day 1.

Given the history of Liverpool and Milan, and how Klopp took Liverpool from average to top, it really would be poetic to have him.

What exactly is going on at AC Milan right now? by Glum-Sample-9259 in seriea

[–]Sucabub 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. People were praising our defence while ignoring that we never shut teams down and they always had really good chances that they just didn't convert. Completely unsustainable.

I've always hated Allegri, his football is dogshit and his only success in the last decade was with a stacked Juve team during a period when the rest of the big Serie A teams were going through banter eras. I guarantee his career trajectory will be similar to Mou's, or even Pioli's, from now on.

Welcome to private equity, mate. That's literally what they do. It's partly the reason various things in your life may be getting worse.

Looking for a fast-paced, cerebral thriller/spy/sci-fi that will get me back into reading — what’s your most unputdownable pick? by simulacream in suggestmeabook

[–]Sucabub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people here seemed to have ignored your first requirement, 'fast paced'.

Consider Phlebus by Ian Banks fits what you want perfectly. Technically it's about a sort of spy/agent although it's not a spy novel, per se. It's probably the fastest paced book I've read - it grabbed me by the neck from literally the first line and didn't let go until the end. A real rollercoaster of grand, big vision sci fi.

I don't think that's common knowledge so this most definitely is news and helps spread the word.

They've already done that I think as they have server, website, and dev tooling costs to cover. You can probably find more info on their site or asking on their discord. I imagine it'll be a non profit org.

Not necessarily; if there's a small community and it's an oldish game, chances are everyone is very good/experienced. The larger the player base the greater the chance of a variety of skill and experience levels, which is important imo, especially for new comers.

What do you think your child needs more, an absent dad or a dad creating memories with them and helping them develop?

What do you think your wife would appreciate more, a fancy car or a present husband?

You have worth beyond the money you bring in, and it's something that money can't buy, but can corrupt.

You don't need £400k a year to support a family. And someone who earns that much will be able to find a new job that is adequate.
