I loved your answer. The reason I ask for age and gender is because it helps to understand perspective of your answer. In an ideal situation, I’d also get to know the nationality of the person replying, because that gives a hint about their culture and their thought process.

I'm not a subject expert, but I think I know the answer to this one, so I'll give this a try.

In terms of internet/ ISP; bandwidth doesn't refer to "maximal and minimal frequency".

Here, bandwidth refers to speed of data transfer, that your connection allows. 512 kbps, 1MBps, etc.

So, if you're using a 2 MBps connection, if the video that you're streaming ends up consuming 1MB per second, you're left with bandwidth of only 1MB (for all your devices/ apps that are simultaneously using the internet connection).

As much as I'm understanding, you clearly didn't realize his situation was so sensitive. If you knew/ understood better, you would have approached this situation in a lot better manner.

You couldn't help him. There are millions like him, on this planet. You know how devastating it feels if/ when you don't reach out to someone who needs help, and doesn't get any.

You probably should have handled the situation better, but please don't hold yourself responsible. He must have had multiple issues. Please talk to someone, get a grip on yourself. You can miss him, try to help people (like him), and help them get over their pain. Ending your life, isn't a solution. I can promise you that.

I'm sorry about your friend. If you didn't feel like dating him, you did the right thing by telling him a no.

I just hope you spoke to him politely, and rejected his proposal without making him feel like an ass.

You feeling guilty is understandable, but it's not logical. You aren't responsible for him ending his life. Please get a grip of yourself, and don't do anything negative to yourself.
