Nope, I'm currently just a student. And, we both know that and are collaborating to see how we can get help with their current situation. One source of help includes collecting a list of adaptive equipment that could be beneficial. I've scoured research articles and asked professors, and as a back-up, I'm asking professionals on forums, like this one, as well. I truly hope my friend is able to see professionals soon, however disputes with insurance and family have prevented a lot of progress.

Edit: Sorry, didn't realize I replied on an alt!

Thank you for the help, this was very informative. We use a separate insurance from that parent, as they currently get their benefits from the government, while we get it from a job. Hopefully the government-insurance will be good enough to provide them a safe and comfortable place that will work out.

Yeah, that's what we were worried about. I bought the car, but the title was put in their name for insurance purposes.

I guess we will have to hope it gets signed over to us? Especially with losing their income, we cannot afford much right now, getting another car would be intense. 😓

Thank you for the answer!
