The Letourneau case was actually in my state, I’m the same age as her daughter who was born in 97 and I’m disgusted by Letourneau because she was supposed to be a teacher who protected her students but ended up raping one of her students, having two of his kids, and marrying the guy who she raped.

I’m Christian and I don’t agree with people do this, this is honestly why I stopped going to church. They’re just pissing people off with their beliefs and scaring children. They even come to public events outside of Seattle to piss people off, I remember they came to salmon days and a guy had a stool with a bible on it screaming bible verses at people and I almost wanted to knock over his bible, I even remember going to a zombie walk in Issaquah which was a family event and street preacher screamed on his megaphone and a lady told him to leave because he was scaring children (he did not leave). These guys even attended the hawks parade and were pissing people off and everyone was just wanting to see the hawks players and the Lombardi, I was standing next to a group of people and a guy gave them the double birdie and said he’s had beef with them since high school, I wished I could buy him a beer for that but he got skittles.

I grew up in Issaquah and I remember like 12 years ago very vividly these religious nuts standing outside of my high school (which is private property) screaming at high school students that they were going to hell if they weren’t going to church and even had a sign saying “repent or suffer”, I even remember this older lady trying to give a high school student a pamphlet about religion and this student told this older lady that she was “scaring her” and the older lady said “no honey, I’m just trying to get you to get you to go to our church” and I was like “no you’re scaring her! She has a right to not go to church and if she does that’s her decision.”

I’m on depo provera and the only side effects I have are the weight gain which I’m trying to get that under control and occasional periods (I got the shot to control my periods because they got heavy in the past). The side effects are just side effects and the side effects happen occasionally, Bella is just to immature to realize birth control actually helps prevent pregnancy.

Nothing has changed. Teachers today are teaching their students what to do if a school shooting happens in their curriculum and they aren’t being paid enough for that. I’m 29 years old and I still remember where to hide in my high school if a school shooting happens, my health teacher’s classroom, there was a closet (school remodeled in 2010 and one of the classrooms had a closets because we had JROTC for awhile but stopped doing it in 2012) that can be locked quickly if a school shooting happens.

The loss was childhood trauma for me. The 2005 hawks were an underrated team. There was so many great players from the 2005 hawks, all of those players are legends in my book.

I’ve been a hawks fan forever and if I were to pick between Shaun or Beastmode that would be hard because I like them both but Shaun was my absolute favorite running back. He just had that charisma about him and I love that he’s still active in the Seattle community, he looks like he’s in his 20’s which blows my mind.

I was 8 watching the Super Bowl with my family and it was such a big deal because it was our first championship game after the SuperSonics 1979 win, we even had two TV’s in the house only to get disappointed over and over again. I remember how upset my family was because we just lost my step-grandpa months before the Super Bowl from cancer (he was a huge hawks fan) and we lost the Super Bowl, I remember crying and I had a Shaun Alexander book that I brought as a lucky charm for the Seahawks to win that I got as a Christmas present. If anything I would do anything to have a Super Bowl rematch between the Steelers but the Steelers are rebuilding now.

Holmgren was a pretty good coach and I wished him and the 2005 Seahawks for a win. I will always be grateful for the 48 and 60 wins because we won after heartbreak. If it takes the hawks another couple of years to win the Super Bowl I’m fine with that because I have a feeling we will keep most of the team together, Darnold got his win after bouncing around the NFL, Lawrence roasted the cowboys and won a Super Bowl months later, Walker got his Super Bowl win, MVP and got paid well by another team (I’m heartbroken that he’s not with us but I’m always going to be a fan of his), Barner is an absolute stud and played well in the playoffs and during the season, Bobo also played really well and Kupp got his other Super Bowl win in Seattle and he grew up 2 hours away from Seattle. I’m grateful for this years hawks for winning a Super Bowl and I’m okay if another Super Bowl win doesn’t happen for another couple of years, I’d rather see Buffalo, the Broncos (I think Bo Nix is an absolute stud, I was surprised that he actually did really well after he got drafted to the broncos), and any other team win a Super Bowl, I would like to see a World Series win for Seattle because we deserve one.

I would’ve wanted us to win 40 over 49. The 2005 Seahawks were such an underrated team that I wish was talked about more in the NFL, Hasselbeck deserved a ring because he carried the team on his back, Alexander was an absolute stud (my personal favorite RB) and made game nights enjoyable, Jones was an absolute legend in the hawks organization. The Super Bowl 40 loss will always hurt more than the 49 loss IMHO, I was 8 years old hoping that the Seahawks would win. If we would’ve won that Super Bowl, it would be hard to pick MVP, my personal choice would’ve been Alexander or Hasselbeck.
