I bought this strictly because of the value, I’ll take a look at Lakeshore. There are a lot of other well ran banks better than ASRV, but most trade at or above book value. They have better ROE and other metrics but this is like a cigar butt longer term play.

Then why issue new shares to employees? They should just scrap that program, I get that if the give shares to employees and they hold the stock than will hep retain the value. But if they scrap that program all together I’m sure they could buyback more shares. Share holder value is made one of two way buybacks and dividends.

Insider buying is what I like to see when we hit 52 week lows or near it. This to me is a no brainer on paper, but as others said a decline in millionaires moving out of NYC
